I have a small query. My Father has a medical condition. After an accident his let knee has been removed and he can't fold his left leg. He can walk and he is healthy now. But he has be travel by flight.
In this case if he wants to travel by airline which sit he should book? which facilities he can avail. Moreover I want to know how he can travel in airline as in airlines the space in front of sits are not very species if I talk about the economy class and he needs space in front of the sits to put his leg straight.

A relative of mine has to travel alone from Mumbai to Chicago via Abu Dhabi through Etihad Airlines 2 weeks from now. She is a senior citizen who has vision problems and hence requires wheelchair assistance which we have already booked while buying the air ticket.
In this regards, I would like to know the following,
1. Since I would be dropping her, where would I find the wheelchair assistance facility? (Is it before the security checking where the guard check the passport and the ticket or is it provided once she enters the terminal).
2. Would the wheelchair attendant help immigration process where the checking and the related documents are filled?
Also is there a separate queue for wheelchair passengers?
2. Before landing at Abu Dhabi, does she have to inform the cabin crew members about the need of the wheelchair for movement from the aircraft to the terminal gate or will the wheelchair attendant be notified beforehand?

Thanks for the information Madam, My Mother is travelling to London to meet me and i am planning to arrange Wheel chair "R" assistance for her travel and she don't know English language at all (Reading ,Writing and Speaking).
I want to know any arrangements available at airport to guide her how they utilize wheel chair option during her travel to London. And also i want to know whether special assistance can be provided to her during Immigration process as she don't know English at all.

Also she does not know english and how to travel, where to go, can not read and write etc. can you please let me know exactly how can she reach Auckland safely. Yes they can get tickets..Some airlines give discount and some gives free.My Airline I have to pay for all tickets but I get discount.

My parents and me will go to india from Bangladesh on 23rd feb for my mother's treatment at CMC hospital, vellore. I've just booked 3 tickets for us at spy jet Airways. My father & me will be my mother's attendants. My mother can't move. She can't climb stares. She needs assistance even in toilet. So, I'm very much anxious about how she will be taken on a plane. And we have a transit in Kolkata where we have to change the plane. So she will have to be taken and brought down from the plane twice during our journey from Dhaka, Bangladesh to Chennai airport. So, under this condition i think cabin c wheelchair will be prefect for her as you describe in this so effective video. Ma'am, as i've said I have already booked 3 tickets for us for the upcoming 23 feb. And i haven't booked cabin c wheelchair for my mother. Will we have to book it after arriving at Dhaka airport? And from whom will we book that? From the airport authority or from spy jet air, India? Waiting for your kind response, Ma'am to get clarity about all these anxieties of mine. I've never ever travelled by air.

yes madam they have special assistance for them some of airport the airlines staff assist that kind of passengers and mostly they give to the wheelchair attendance so they are take care of them because I'm working also in speacil handling in Dubai airport
