Relaxing Walks, your source for quiet, commentary-free walks and drives in stunning 4K+ HDR quality. We record real-time binaural audio to bring nature's soundscape and ambience to you.
We mainly film using a Sony FX30/E 11mm F1.8 camera and a Zhiyun Crane M3 gimbal for steady footage. Nature's sounds are recorded with a Zoom F6 and binaural microphones, and we polish the final product with Davinci Resolve Studio and Izotope RX.
The purpose of our videos is to provide an escape, potentially offering benefits such as relaxation, stress relief, and fostering a calming environment conducive to meditation, study, and sleep.

I like looking at the streets of America. Especially America in the early 20th century. So I enjoy old photos, movies, and I like your channel because I see the real picture of America now. When you look at the houses on the street, I imagine America in old photos.

Yes. The average house seen here is around 1.5 million. It’s not necessarily because of the house, it’s the land / location.
Another cookie cutter neighborhood with no sidewalks. No sidewalks to keep people out of the neighborhood. Does not have that I would like to know your neighbor kind of thing. That kind of neighborhood were you wave to you next door neighbor as they are walking the dog, or taking the kids out for a nice summer walk on SIDEWALKS. I hate these kind of cookie cutter neighborhoods. Not one thing is inviting about them. 😳😩 Almost like walking trough a ghost town . 😔🥺😩

Thank you for your input. Did you mean to comment on a different video? I was on a sidewalk for most of the walk, notably around the 11:50 mark where you can see me waving to a person walking their dog on a sidewalk. In these quieter neighborhoods, I've noticed that sidewalks are often absent but the streets themselves are generally safe for walking as seen here. However, busier roads leading into these areas (that I avoid) do have sidewalks for safety. One possible reason there are no parents with their children visible in the footage could be the time of recording-after 8 PM, which is when many are typically engaged in school-related tasks, dinner, bedtime preparations, etc. I intentionally choose to film during quiet times in tranquil locations to create a peaceful, people-free atmosphere.

Not that it matters much, but just for fun, I analyzed the video timeline to see the percentage of time spent on streets with and without sidewalks. Since the streets and timestamps were already listed in the description for the chapters, it was quite straightforward and quick to calculate:

Time on streets with sidewalks: 95 + 279 + 592 + 100 + 174 + 232 + 256 = 1728 seconds.
Time on streets without sidewalks: 276 + 134 + 82 + 27 + 218 + 85 + 417 = 1239 seconds.
Total video time: 2907 seconds (48.27 minutes).
Percentage of time calculations:
With sidewalks: 1728/2907×100≈59.44%
Without sidewalks: 1239/2907×100≈42.64%
In minutes:
With sidewalks: 1728/60≈28.8 minutes
Without sidewalks: 1239/60≈20.65 minutes
So, approximately 59.44% of my walking time in the video was spent on streets with sidewalks.

I don't know what your definition of a cookie cutter neighborhood is, but to my mind it would be one house after another that looks alike. I did not see one house on this walking tour that looked like the next one. Also at the time of day for this tour, most people are in their houses having dinner. To me it's a beautiful neighborhood and a great walking tour.
