Great stuff! I'm surprised that not that many people know about Appsync and the benefits of it still. I share the same enthusiasm as Michael and Brice, after working with it for the last year. Especially after releasing the JS resolvers - instead of write VTL. Also great work with the DynamoDB libraries for JS-resolvers: it helped alot and are truly time savers.

Doesn't appsync expects a response from lambda resolver? can we trigger the lambda asynchronously?
