- BennVenn has been busy again. This time he's been working on a new flash cart for the mighty Atari Lynx.
I've been lucky enough to be sent an early prototype to check out and we also have a chat to Atari Gamer on his work on the cart and whats coming up in Atari Lynx Homebrew

Sky Raider looks like an update of River Raid!
The German word for lynx is "Luchs". Pronounced "looks". So that's a pretty cool name there.

Great video as always. I've been meaning to add a Lynx to my collection for a long time, I think the screen upgrades and flashcarts are what will finally tip me over the edge!

I love the Atari Lynx.
I am so on board for this. Been really wanting to check out the homebrew side as well, and always felt the emulation to be lacking. Shall be keeping an eye on this for sure.

I was able to get a 2GB MicroSD card off eBay.
Don't know much about the Lynx scene, but I do know that electronics repair wizard GadgetUK (GadgetUK164 on TH-cam) did a rather lovely, freely available port of the old C64/ZX Spectrum game Alien (based upon the movie of the same name) for the Lynx a few years ago. Noice, I've sort of put the lynx on a low priority of handhelds to pick up but it may be finally time to source one. This may be a controversial opinion but I think both versions of the lynx are damn ugly, but with the new screen and a flash cart I'm sure I can learn to love it
