to make this publicly known.... I had a misfire and followed your procedure i got to the mechanical side looking under the valve cover....1- number 6 cylinder rocker adj nut was loose causing catastrophic failure 2- in the course of fixing- found that the entire valve rails were loose 3- still misfire after fix and I started again with this procedure found that the number 4 fuel injector wire was bare and shorting out were the loom runs into the valve pan... now it runs like a dream...again these videos are invaluable!!! Thanks a million

I love this comment because I don't have a solid feel for what is useful to others except for the experience and the theory I understand and have many years of solidifying processes that I know work and get the bills paid. Any kind of content suggested are helpful. Be safe out the brother.

@@americandieselllc I think helping others solidify the processes is an excellent start. At least itn my opinion, I would much rather have a solid foundation with good processes so I can save myself time and money. I know the specifics will come with time and experience. But I've been consuming your content and would kill to have you as my mentor for a year or two!

As a 26 year old, green, very hungry diesel technician, I feel very fortunate to have found your channel. I look forward to more informational videos like this. I learned more in this video about diesel fuel systems than I have in 4 years working on trucks/equipment. Thank you.

thank you for that kind comment. I am giving away what separated me from my peers in the hope that it helps others learn and earn more. I will never charge to give you guys what gave me the advantage. but you have to watch the whole videos to get there. I'm in your corner brother. let me know if there are any specific videos I can do and I'll get it done.

love your content man... i have been hired as a fleet mechanic for a small company 90% diesel. there is nothing i can't do on a gasoline vehichle but diesel is much different... anyways a driver came in towed said it died getting up to speed said sounded like someone dump bolts just before that now with new batt. it starts hard and sounds like missing on multi cyl. would this be the same process on this vid you would do. it died in 4 degree weather

as far as the sound it may have been ice shook loose from around the radiator when it shook from misfire but im not assuming that

Would love to see a video of your story. How did you get where you are? You have an immense amount of knowledge and apparently experience. Love your channel Joseph! My middle name is Joseph. How ironic.

I’m sure you’ve heard this before but you know your sh*t. How do you make a living these days? You remind me of the corporate trainers I’ve learned from, but smarter.

Im very grateful for the compliment. I am really focused on teaching this stuff online. I am making an investment in the information sphere to help others and speak on solutions to problems. I have my first paid speaking event for a boys and girls club. I will video that and post it. I want to open a free diesel/electrical diagnostics school for my community where I will video and publish online for free.
