I think ultra sonic cleaners are great if you are cleaning a lot of guns. It's not the cleaner as much as the solution you put into it. Seal 1 can be bought in gallon jugs just for that. Although expensive, keeping a lid on it to save the fluid, you can use it multiple times for a while. I've seen other liquids not last as long or do as good of a job. Also Your ultra sonic cleaner size will dictate how much you can clean at once. I have only ever used one and it used heat and was a good size. You could almost submerge a rifle barrel in it. If you're using water at all, you'll want to be sure that everything gets dried completely to avoid rust. Hope that helps.
