Sorry for the misconception of everyone thinking the game was/is dead, We are proud to present phase 3 with some little new content, Now Grab A Drink and Popcorn and be ready!

I watched the video again and I must say that the number of gaster blasters is pleasantly surprising. Sans doesn't spam them, but uses them in combination with other attacks.
Watched that video again and damn it. . . I cried at the end again. Good ending after a million games where the human wins.
The og call of the void was an animation this is literally just the gameplay version

I love how uncoordinated the attack patterns feel. Like sans is desperately throwing stuff around in a last bid to kill you before the DT kills him
It's really interesting that Papyrus only came back to his senses the moment Gaster was out of the picture. It's like Pap wasn't a lost soul because he was broken, he was a lost soul because Gaster was actively keeping him that way. Deltarune portrays Gaster as a manipulative and uncaring evil, so it's rather in-character.
Considering how little we’ve been confirmed to hear from Gaster in Deltarune, and how he tried to provide us a vessel instead of Kris, I think he’s a greater good type. He both couldn’t have Papyrus’s emotions interfering, and didn’t want him to be hurt, as him being a lost soul made him impervious to damage, directing it to Gaster instead.

@@Determination709 Well that’s rather unlikely. If anything, Gaster would be a secret boss.
@@jacksonvoet8312 you mean the secret final boss. Because on chapter 6 we might get acess to the bunker and see gaster being here. And for instance, hes still a passive npc, before he lied to us in the final secret boss gaster. In chapter 7, gaster told us that he lied about the thing of being good to them and reveals tthat he is the one who is the true knight. Yet making him consume the light world in darkness.

Man, this reminded me of that one Dusttrust phase 4 ending cutscene, feels emotional, both spend their last moments remembering their brothers, and finally, fade away

What makes me more emotional is that sans actually cried during this,sans barely cries,it proves a point that he’s happy he changed the timeline for good
considering the hype surrounding the cotv project, it must be quite alot of pressure making sure that the final product will be as good as the animation, but nonetheless the team did great

The ending would also be very epic if they put that when sans dies, on top of the dust is a drawing that says "Don't forget" with a drawing of papyrus, sans and gaster

it’d like to see that after you complete the phase the game closes and when you reopen it it will show you in the true lab in the dt extractor area with your soul still trapped and the melted remains of sans and it just stays like that even if you close and open the game again.
Maybe not forever, because have a chance to Alphys found the soul and took it into Asgore.
The best ending I've ever seen, so nostalgic, so happy, so sad, that ending is full of emotions, I can't wait to play it, good job Cotv team

All I gotta say was that this was great, and the changed dialogue was a nice touch! Ultimately though, the ending cards really just made me tear up a bit, was just a great sendoff to this ending! I can't wait to see more, but just make sure to take your time too, can't rush a team already trying their best y'know?
All of monster kind is gone, slaughtered by a murderous child that could go back in time to retry over and over again until they won, countless resets gone by and the child found something new, and in that end, sans finally won, but at the cost of only one monster alive. There truly is one left
Nope, most of the underground is still there in call of the void, the human is only lvl11 this happen right after the Undyne fight I think, so this is quite a happy ending if you ask me

u have to go through (for cotv) 3 phases of painful attacks just to FORCEFULLY lose
when u beat a game, u feel some sort of accomplishement,

@@anissans-zo1bcPhase 3c will hhave an ability to win or lose. When you survive in 1 hp, you lose to gaster by crashing your game. And returning to it. You see your soul trapped in the cotainer along with gasters final words to the player that they will never come back. If you are greater than 1 hp, you will attack gaster, bring back papyrus to remember, then kill him.
Phase 3c has alternate endings. But this is my take
i actually cried at the end seeing sans tear up while turning to dust i feel so bad...
a nice, bittersweet ending. and now, i wait for 3b to make me happy.
I love how sans’ eyes don’t glow with just Patience and Justice, but glow with Patience, Justice, And determination
I love this I am not a bug AU guy but I love how this feels faithful to the real game and also that sans wins in the end!

What I like about cotv is that there is an actual good reason for the stuff that's going on. Though sans is the first we fight in this fangame, this whole plan was started by Gaster. Sans couldn't have started the plan because *HE DOESN'T REMEMBER RESETS*

The end makes me want to cry holy hell- i never thought id be emotional for a video game skeleton-
hmm i think it'd be better to change the attack in 1:15 into a slash since all of the "forced attack" is slashes in the original game and it just looks and feels better
But by the time you reach the lab in genocide the weapon with the highest damage is the baller shoes

I think the only thing that needs to be adjusted is just the gravity affecting the soul with the final shifts at 5:00 if you want the sea of bones at the bottom to be an active threat, as of now you just don’t fall fast enough to be really threatened by them. Otherwise I’m looking forward to seeing how 3b and c come out, this was great guys
How is it possible that no matter how much HP you have, sans finally won and kept your soul in a container? (I’m curious because this vid said that Frisk had 48 HP before the unavoidable)
Saster said that in phase 3a sans wins no matter hp you have, you Will always die

the only thing that sticks out the most is there's actually sfx in the fight and the blaster is not as smooth and the moving bone zones are not working
but its good, the ending cutscene too

If you meant like how he is last one that gets killed, yes it sad. But everyone after the Lab is safe, because the player only has LV 11. They didn't kill the entire Underground just yet.

@@anissans-zo1bc That is why this is an AU (Alternate Universe). It diverts from the original game. Also I watched a genocide playthrough and you are at LV 12 when you reach the Lab, so it is a little bit off but you can't think of every little detail for a big fangame.
@@thisisabucket653 u dint need to specify that au = alternate universe but quick correction, at lv 12 geno, u go to the REGULAR lab, the true one is locked in geno, u simply cant really go in there without the use of cheating
but considering this is an au, fair enough.
Would be cool if sans could actually see player's gui and manage it, since he has determination in his soul. Also would ne cool for save and load files like in photoshop floweys fight

One Left Sans is sort of like Geno without the snapping his fingers into the save screen (and the fact he doesn't have a wound and the Papyrus Scarf)

Ok i have a question , why does sans not REALLY bother papyrus dying?Its almost like he dont care about anything anymore
Cause he can’t do anything as he knows he will die and cannot stop the human if he doesn’t take the soul from pap his brother but you can see then sans wins papyrus is proud with sans and the loop cycle ends once and for all so that’s a true ending for sans and the others
And the second reason is papyrus is not strong enough to stop the human as he still believes in them and his kindness will be that as always and sans took the soul from papyrus which has determination
