And let me just say, LS mains are spoiled today with things like the Foresight slash, Spirit Roundslash, the Helm Splitter, multiple levels of spirit charge, a Fade slash that moves in more directions than just backwards, etc..
I never stopped FU until i had all the rusted weapons lmao my precious epitaph blade looked so dope. It's kinda amazing how the LS developed doe, to being just a long edged weapon that gives you formidable reach and fast attacks, to a ultra samurai weapon with anime style roundslashes and spirit evades (not to mention the damn cool spirit helmbreaker). Ah life was good.
I fucking missed this game, the last time i played this game was like 5 years ago on my PSP. Watching this brings so much memory especially when played with friends🥺
I still have the game disc safe and sound with me for 10 years now just the thing is my psp broke but I hope to some day buy another one and play this gem of a game
So, I've been playing Monster Hunter 4 ultimate. It's the one I'm used to. While I've looked forward at games like Rise and World, I've never really looked back. Tigrex is one of my favourites, and It's good to know it was just as awesome in it's debut generation. Some things have definitely changed, but somethings haven't, y'know? It's kind of comforting. It's definitely monster hunter, that's for sure.

With tigrex, it seems like one mistake would mean an instant death. It's fast and it take ages for your character to get up. If you're out of luck, after he knocked you down, he would go for a charge. And that charge take a big chunk of your health.
I used to be scared with Tigrex, it will follow you if you have gone the wrong way and when i was playing, im basically avoiding everything just not to force a battle with this running dinosaur.
Look at the insane tactics new gen players and pros make, they're actually better than old gen hunters, partly because they now have game wikis and can plan the hunt down to its' finest detail. Just proves you haven't bothered to check out some of the more skilled and dedicated hunters out there.
I remember Grinding to g3 beating it and then helping my brothers to g3 we did it with matching akantor armor man the grind the hours the long nights lol
