Overall, Actually super surprised with how this build turned out. Link skills generally suck so hard, so finding something that could clear a t16, and was completely built without any inspiration is wild. Obviously this is something that is more defined by the playstyle, so not everyone is gonna like it. but hey that's not why I made it. I just wanted to see it if it was possible and it absolutely is, on a (as of recording) 10 div budget. Will see how far I can push it, given that I've farmed a couple t16s with little issue. Let me know if you have suggestions for improving damage specifically, cause that needs the most push
Love the idea! Nice build. I wanted to do some crazy dot build that no one played and I was searching for frigid bond, decay or something else. I endup with crazy Flamewall level scaling with 2 possible setups: recently cheep squire with poets pen or 6link flamewall on spellslinger in +3armour Fun fact flamewall does not loose dmg from spellslinger. Fun fact flamewall projectiles can actually damage every proximity shield monster far offscreen. Doedre gloves carring the build until 90+lvl Feels like RF on a stick :)
Nice build. Autobombers/Minions are always so nice to play. I had a similar idea but with a bunch of quality to get the base duration up plus a bit of skill effect duration to make the link last for a minute. I think the qol would make the build feel so much smoother.
Yea, while the aura stacking direction I did was enough to show that it could map, it definitely put a lot of socket pressure and skewed my pathing a lot. More sockets and better pathing for, say spell suppression, can make this feel may better. also some explosions
i've been thinking about the slower proj / stun combo and coming up blank. It really does a good job stunning, but damage is just so crippled and skills so limited.
Yea for hit based it’s very hard to justify it, that’s why I’m using the rigwalds quills, no stun but it can get up to 175% projectile damage increase with high widowhail to help a bit
If Frigid bond scales with cold damage and cold dot damage then, I would assume, it would be more beneficial to simply play a real Cold Dot character while dervishes having fully utilitarian support gems. That is to fully take advantage of Shako and obscene base cold dot damage of a bond. In case of Dervishes being a real minion Ancient Skull is an undisputed best helmet option. I feel like PoE discourages hybridization like this.
I actually disagree a bit. I feel like Poe encourages doing whatever playstyle you come up with, but it is the community that has shaped what is deemed a “good” build. If you really want to be creative and find builds that no one is using, you have to separate yourself from the player economy and the culture of min maxed farming. As for cold dot, if that’s how people play it then I’m sure it’ll work. I’ve never played a “real” cold dot build before so I didn’t really stack skill effects
Oh jesus seeing Dervish being linked to meatshield is just painful lol. The one thing everyone praises about it and you gut it. If you want blind just get it from ghastlies. To help you link better, use convocation and spam linking on yourself. And of course Dervish is zoomy - it's literally #1 in minion clear speed =D
possible! but a very different build. I reccomend looking at the Woolfie video on the subject, he covered it nicely. I'm on break rn so I can't do my own research yet
This looks so delightfully janky, I love it!

cool idea, just looks D tier
Better than most link skills genuinely which sit at F-
Would be nice if flame link could be supported by automation
I like fresh ideas, very nice!!

corrupt that sword with resolute technique = accuracy problems solved for both u and the minion

Intuitive link?
