In light of the new tradition, can we get an episode devoted to the redwood trees? How man types of habitats have they lived through, and how wide spread have they been in the past?
I just discovered the channel so awesome. Great work and I really enjoyed this, being a lesser known extinction. I love all prehistoric life including plants. Keep it up the great pod casts guys.
I'm a software developer & I'd love to do some statistical paleontology work, but not sure how I'd make a living from it & the day job takes up most of my time.
@@commondescent Thanks, I appreciate the encouragement :) My job is making me relocate again, this time to Connecticut - I imagine there are probably some cool museums in that area

If it's something you'd like to pursue, it's never a bad idea to reach out to local museums and universities and see if they have any ideas.

There sure are! The Peabody, the Bruce Museum, Dinosaur State Park, and lots of footprints to study!
