I remember how this was one of the good Sonic.exe games that actually has a good and coherent story that isn’t just jumpscares and dark screens. The best part is that the victims here have a fighting chance against the villain instead of dying right away.

Years later still watching this. Spirits of Hell will always have a special place in my heart
Man I remember the times during this, I had just gotten home from school, turned on the TV and got some ruffles. I never thought of it that much but looking back this truly was the prime of sonic.exe games and this one was comparable to mania in terms of quality.
Ok everything aside this was incredibly well made for a sonic fan game. Especially for how much smaller the sonic.exe community is than the official sonic community
The sonic exe comunnity is actually kinda big, Sonic.EXE is one of the biggest Sonic Fan Games (or he's the biggest)
Yeah it's a really goos game/video! The only thing I don't like about it is the first time he dies. Wiith the plane. I know it's to show the people, but still.
They took most sonic 1 2 3 assets to make it more like a sonic game and that’s actually a good idea

Since we know Sally exe the whisper of soul is a sequel to this, and one character (SPOILERS) Alice, has a lot of different powers including resetting the timeline with the master emerald, so it's safe to say she can give visions to people to save them since she's trying to help everyone by resetting the timeline over and over

I liked WoS and Destiny more, but this game is definitely up there. I prefer Destiny when wanting to play with 1st trinity, though, because of how different it is.

The problem with the original that this one fixes is the fact that the characters are treated as characters. Tails, Knuckles, and Ivo are all treated with the respect for their characters that the original lacked. This was quite scary at parts because I got attached to the characters.

I'm not even a Sonic.exe fan and even I admit this is a really well designed and fun game. Really hard at parts and does have a few flaws here and there but overall very solid experience. One I definitely recommend.
