Again loru, massive help, since followig yourself and both the PI, Bpo/BPC and the using all Alts videos/guides i am currently on the way to having 5 chars with there 2 alts each making 10 alts all skiling into the PI and BPO alts and my mains have their 6 planets all set up pumping p2s out. Lets just say i do not need worry about isk anymore!! And with the new PI templats out and your generoisty of having some free templates to download it just made my ton of planets so much easier to start up!! 👍 🎉
The thing I'm really looking for is the ability to quickly switch out the inputs/outputs of an existing building set up...extract a different resource, make a new P1 (or whatever), using the existing buildings that were previously being used for another resource.
Been running PI for a couple years. The big advantage here for me is the ease of moving/rebuilding my setup to a better spot on the same planet.... as resources "float" Loru touches on this specifically, around 7:30 More great stuff sir !
I do Pi for years and a dual setup of more then 1 p0 suffer a lot compared to a pure single extractor. I love the templates it allowes to move the stuff once per month to keep the high income running.
Here’s the numbers in null for all you wanting to get into pi. You can make between 2.1m to 3.5m per planet per day ‘passively’. The update is welcome but not the limiting factor to producing pi, consistency is.. you need to maintain tens of (in some cases) hundreds of planets to make any meaningful isk. Also what was not covered here properly is ALWAYS right click show other command centers. If you build on someone you WILL deplete their and your resource pools if pulling similar stuffs.
How are you setting up multiple extractor units?The image you have onscreen @0:36 shows 2 extractor units. I get a warning saying that if I try "You cannot construct another Extractor Control Unit on this planet, as it would dangerously overload your command center's power core." (To be fair I use all the available extractor heads and set for a 24 hour cycle)
I can run two extractors at lvl 4 but I have to cut back the processing. You learn what you can do and get away with as time goes on. Just check the customs tax for each planet first folks!
What happens if your storage container fills up with the raw material, do you just lose any crafted p1 until you clear out some p0 in the storage to make space?
Thanks for this - I'm genuinely going to give these a shot. I tried PI but found it to be incredibly tedious and just kind of abandoned it...Literally - I have five colonies needing attention, for a year now...
It really is just learning muscle memory of tedious back and forth clicking. Half of the messing about with PI could be reduced by half. It's just bad UI.
It's not that bad, just alot of repetitive clicking with no shortcuts. There a site that tells you everything you can do in PI. Evesomething, I'm sure someone will fill that in.
@@lorumerthgaming Lower PI prices, means more ship builders, more ship builders, cheaper ships, cheaper ships, more pvp/pve activity which means more players engaging and having fun, more players = healthy game and community. Ws all-across the board.
@@Daylonne Exactly. If he can't find in null, he should go WH mining and/or high-sec... And yes i did say high-sec to his probably appalled face. That's how I built my ships. Haha.
But care if the routes are long (gas planet?) or upgraded they can go over the CPU limit... I wonder if they would be discarded then along with the transfers or maybe just go red and you have to fix it

0.5b per month per char isnt really ISK for null - thats why I stopped bothering moving planets.

Make sure you've got your command center upgraded all the way to V
