come across your channel I find your videos really interesting and learnt a lot. Thank you! Your videos talks about brands I've not heard of and has got me thinking to think more about my next pairs of glasses. However, I notice you don't talk about Lindberg. Can you tell me your opinion on Lindberg? I owned a pair and loved them! Wondered if you think they should be a stable to choose this brand? 😊

Absolutely thank you so much for everything! The wife and I had an amazing time.
Everyone at the shop was top notch and wanted to help you be the best you can be.
Truly the best experience we have had anywhere in the world.
You were amazing at helping get the best look as well as helping me to get outside of my comfort zone to more options that will enhance my life.
The eye doctors and staff were stellar. I am horrible with names but you know you you are. Adam Aziza and others.

You took my question! Thank you.
As to orange frames, I have two (out of five pairs). My work glasses are orange aluminum Prodesign from a decade ago. I put Photogrey Extra glass in those, and they look great, as you suggested.
I also have Ovvo frames that, much like some Reykjavik Eyes, have orange on the inside of the temples with grey exterior. I put Transitions amethyst lenses (more grey than amethyst) with a red flash. Love them.
As a photographer with a background in color theory, I suggest looking to the color wheel for ideas. Orange, being a secondary color, is complemented (wrong word, flattered is better) by other secondary colors, which in this case are green or purple. I chose purple.
Thank you for your efforts doing these presentations and for your passion.
    HAPPY CHRISTMAS!

Not a question, but I just wanted to say keep up the good work. Your content and my part time work in the world of eyewear has completely changed my life. I had been very unhappy with my college major for a while, but couldn’t picture myself going through any other career path. Now after being in the eyewear industry for 2 years and learning a lot through your content and through my work I have found a new passion and decided to change my college major so I could not only participate in the world of eyewear as a hobby, but also as a life long career. Right now I work for a large corporation, but eventually I would like to do what you do and have more selection as to what eyewear I work with and be able to move towards pushing away “buying brands” and work towards educating people over the importance of quality. I really do appreciate the content you produce and encourage you to continue providing fun educational information to the public. Great work Robert and everyone else on the Spectacle Factory team who makes these incredible videos possible. You all really do make a difference with the content you produce. I just hope your channel can grow even further.

I currently am in contact with a company that has a similar initiative to yours and I hope that I can start doing what I love through them. I definitely will reach out for future career advice though. You are the expert. Keep making great content and continue to make the word of eyewear a better place.

Hi Robert, thank you very much for this channel. At 49, I needed to get my very first reading glasses, and my job with multiple computer monitors really makes it more complicated. The glasses are mostly for reading books & working with mobile phones -- don't really need it for looking at monitors, but I was thinking: why not make the most of these glasses by adding anti-blue-ray protection on it, and wear it while working?
Well, (rather) blindly, I did some quick research online, and got Varilux Digitime Mid from a local shop, which is great for close-up readings, but totally not working while I was in front of multiple monitors. It even rendered my widescreen useless, because I could only read a very little portion of it (totally negated the reason why I bought the monitor in the first place). I'm not sure if it was a bad lenses job, or it's just what the lenses are.
Then I met you & your channel, and because of it I took the plunge to try Zeiss Office Lens. Too bad I'm very far away from England, so I had to get it locally. And it's miles better for working. Thanks for your informative videos.
I do have a couple of questions:
    1. For mobile-phone using, the Zeiss is still usable, however I found that it looks better if I'm using the Varilux. And somehow the Zeiss would make the sides of the phone don't run parallel to each other (makes the phone trapezium shape instead of rectangular). Is that normal?
    2. I've got Zeiss Office Plus. How different/better it would be with the Superb version? Do you think it's worth the (more expensive) cost?
    Merry Christmas from Indonesia!

HI Robert, I recently discovered your channel and am really pleased to say I feel so much more informed about the often confusing world of glasses. At the age of 53 I have now ordered my first pair ever of glasses having had a recent eye test. I had a tremendous fitting and help from the good people at Niche Bazaar Studio in Glasgow. I was able to communicate so much better with them having watched your videos in recent weeks. I do admit I find myself a little apprehensive about the prospect of wearing glasses for the first time ever as I genuinely don’t know what to expect, perhaps you have some thoughts on this? I must admit I am also excited and willing to embrace the change. I really really like Jacques Marie Mage glasses, don’t know why just something about them I find aesthetically pleasing? I believe you also consider them to be a really good brand also?. They are expensive so I saved up and put money aside over the last month or two to order a pair just today, hopefully I can get them early in the New Year after the holidays 🤞Thanks so much Robert for your enthusiasm on the channel , your videos have been great and such a help to me these last few weeks in preparation for making an informed choice in purchasing my first ever pair of glasses. I hope you and all your team enjoy a happy, healthy and safe Christmas and I very much look forward to whatever you may have coming up on the channel, stay well👍 Andrew

      @thespectaclefactory  ปีที่แล้ว +2

Thanks Andrew, and glad we contributed to your new glasses. JMM are awesome.
I understand you feeling aprehensive about wearing glasses. I think that's natural but try to focus on the postives of what they do for you. And try to build a collection over time as wearing just the one pair does reduce your enjoyment of owning them IMO.
