Today we're looking at the live action avatar vs animated series, always a controversial topic :P. This is a great example of how to write a pilot episode and why writing a pilot episode for live action is so different than it is for animation. There are just certain things you can get away with in animation that don't translate as well to live action (as we know based on any, if not all, of the Disney live-action remakes...)
