Just bought this myself and have been happy with it so far (2 weeks in). Costco had a heck of a sale on it and got it for about $2300 all in, tax, delivery, setup, and haul away. I can't afford the really high end units like Subzero, so we have to land on something more reasonable pricewise. There is so much room inside compared to our old side by side. We moved the stuff from our old fridge in and there is still tons of room, I'm not even sure how to organize the shelving yet, because there is so much space at the moment. Ice and water taste clean as I would expect from a new fridge, the cubes are a medium size, but I like them so far. They dispense easily and consistently and don't seem to get stuck or jammed. I wish there was an extra ice bin and scoop for the freezer so that we could load it up before a party and not risk running out of ice, I may look for a 3rd party ice bin.
Initially when shopping for a fridge I had my eyes on a Samsung, but If you search for reviews about Samsung and even LG they are full of angry consumers that hate their fridges or have had massive issues with compressors and/or leaking, etc.... It seems like for every positive review exists 3 or 4 negatives ones. I watched a video of someone pulling a sheet of ice out of the bottom of their Samsung because it leaks into the bottom of the fridge and freezes, looked like a pane of glass. That was enough to make me consider other options. I've had a Bosch dishwasher for a couple of years now and it has been good, so I decided to look into a fridge from Bosch as well. I thought it would be out of my price range and it kind of was until I found this great Costco deal. Even if it was out of budget, I was still considering the splurge just to have something that got away from Samsung and LG and the problems that seem to come with them. We'll see if my instincts about avoiding Samsung/LG were good or bad in the years to come as we use this fridge.
One small issue was it was making an short buzzing sound every 60 seconds. I googled this and found a post online that pointed to a relay in the bottom rear of the fridge, accessible by removing 4 screws. The rear top of the 2 relays in there (two black boxes on a white stepped bracket) was the culprit and the resolution was to turn it slightly counter clockwise which puts it at a slightly different orientation which seems to have stopped the sound completely. I'm not sure why this was allowed past QC, or why turning it slightly fixes the issue, but I'm happy it worked.

Hello Joey, are you still happy with the Bosch refrigerator? I’m planning to get one. Thanks

We purchased the Bosch B36CD50SNS/08 six days ago. The one vegetable drawer and the deli drawer are very hard to open. They glide fine once you get them unstuck, but I have to yank them open. Also, yesterday I used the cubed ice for the first time. I just tapped the paddle quickly and released, as I only wanted two cubes. It proceeded to dump 44 cubes all over my floor. So we're not off to a good start. Wish I had stayed with GE.

Just got this fridge after having a lg fridge which had the compressor changed 2 times under warranty and just last week if failed again and my extended warranty expired. Apparently lg is being sued now .Did some research and it boiled down to frigidaire, Bosch and whirlpool. Got the best deal on a Bosch and whirlpool fridge for my garage. We'll see how it goes ,I will never buy a lg or Samsung fridge ever.

I bought the Bosch B28FD59SNS and after 3 years the solenoid that allows water into the unit that gives you water and makes ice, failed. Bosch says they have no part for this and do not know when they will get the part. They actually tried to get me to replace the entire ice maker. They did not know I had someone look at it at a cost of $100 and they told me this $104 part needed to be replaced. DO NOT BUY A REFRIDGERATOR FROM BOSCH.

Update: We had a repair company locally that Bosch uses. They checked it out and say it needs a new main electrical board and a new fan which are both electrical parts. The board comes in November and the fan in December and those are not guaranteed. They did offer us the newest equal to ours, but we have to pay approximately 40% of the cost which is $1,224.50 and they would only drop it off at the door. I'm sure their local repair company would help at another $100-$200 charge. We are now thinking of getting a new GE refrigerator since everyone including repairmen say the GE is the best made now with the least amount of problems. I mean, why would I want another Bosch? This Bosch lasted 3 years and even though the electrical parts are under warranty, someone at Bosch told me the warranty will not be in affect. What else I learned, Don't get an icemaker that is in the refrigerator part. Get one with the icemaker in the freezer. Oh and the model they are offering us is their cheapest model with "french" doors and a bottom freezer. Looks to me like they use the cheapest parts that don't last very long. Bye bye Bosch. You got me once , you will not get me again

Hopefully better than our Samsung fridge. Hoping to replace with something like this after they give up replacing the faulty parts since it's a manufacturer defect. Look up their class action lawsuit 😅

Horrible design with the icemaker . The fill tube to icemaker has a heater on it to prevent line from freezing. Bad design because the heater itself drys out the plastic fill tube to the point it cracks and icemaker develops clumps of ice on it. Beware when pulling out icemaker as it has its own capillary tube and suction line. If you break it and it leaks .... GOOD LUCK!!!

Horribly disappointed with our new Bosch fridge. I’ve had disposable plastic water bottles sturdier than the parts in this thing. And the water dispenser drips like crazy after use. Really disappointed.

Your drip is due to water pressure and/or filter

Ours only drips when using the crushed ice maker is used, and the remaining pieces melt and dribble small amounts on the next use.
