    just got my first bottle, I have oily skin but I bought the emulsion for normal-dry skin but wow it absorbs really nicely anyway, though takes time. I use it together with aestura and beauty of joseon. but yes I agree with you about fragrance in the waterbank series. it's a bit too overwhelming.

    Hi! Thank you so much for all the information and comparison between them. They launched 2 new cleansers for this water bank line, oil and gel. Is there a need to use the 3 of them or just 1? What would you recommend for daily routine? I also saw a moisture mist for the same line, would it be equal to the “essence”? Thank you ❤

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. I suggest using only one of them, not all three.
      2. As for a daily routine, can you tell me what is your skin type?
      3. I'm not sure of the moisture mist because I've yet to try it out myself, but it depends on the skin line. Essences can come in a variety of formulations. In this line's case, the dry skin type and oily skin type essences have different formulations. In general, watery essences can be used for moisture mists.

      @@JOOHKY thank you for replying :) my skin is combination to oily skin. Great! I got interest in the mist because I like light weight products and the spray seemed practical. Right now I got a foam from Nature Republic (jeju sparkling foam cleanser) and from the same brand, the Aqua Max watery line (toner, emulsion and cream). I bought this line because I used the cream before and I really liked it. But next time I want to try this water bank line for combination to oily skin treatment. I also have Biore Watery sunscreen and also a lip scrub (the face shop) and lip sleeping mask from Laneige. Any other product that I should include on this skincare? Thank you so much! I loved the concealer video and the rom&nd nu zero cushion one. I want to try the later but I’m not sure about my shade in K beauty (my concealer from MAC is N30). Any tips to choose the best shade? Thank you again :)

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@saray.9193 I think the products you are using seems sufficient, as for the shades, as each brand and line is different, it really depends on which product you are looking at. In the case for the Rom&nd Nu Zero Cushion, I believe #23 would be closest to Mac's NC30

    for the cream, i was gifted the oily to combi one but i typically have normal to dry. i was thinking of using it in the summer as my skin doesn’t get dry when it’s hotter.
    do you think the oily/combi cream has drying effects? will it be suitable for someone with normal-dry skin?

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  ปีที่แล้ว

      oily/combi cream doesn't have a drying effect, so it should be fine for your normal-dry skin, but it won't be as moisturizing, as it's not formulated for dry skin.

    What’s the difference between emulsion and cream ? I usually use toner-serum-cream so I don’t understand what emulsion is for 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

    • @bierangtamen
      @bierangtamen 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The emulsion is probably like a serum-cream hybrid for extra hydration that has good synergy with the rest of the routine. Obviously, it’s not as important as the cream; just for extra hydration

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      In Korea, Emulsion refers to what people in other countries would call lotion.
      Normally, I would go with Toner - Emulsion - Serum/Ampoule - Cream.

      @@JOOHKY hi I wonder why in Laneige perfect renew youth skin, serum will be used first then apply emulsion. But in Laneige water bank, emulsion then serum?
      Is it the different between 2 kinds of emulsion? Cuz I have known before, serum is normally used first then emulsion. Pls help me understand every step in skin care rouge. Now my case is: makeup remover, cleaner, toner, essence, serum, cream.
      Then now with this emulsion water bank I don't know where to add it on.

    • @JOOHKY
      @JOOHKY  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, actually the order in which you asked the question is the order you should use it.
      Foam to cleanse your skin, and then serum followed up by the cream.
      When using most skin care products, the tip is to start off with the lightest product to the heaviest.
