Deuce!! You said this was long, but necessary... However I find myself wanting more of this!!! May the Lord bless you and keep you, and the Holy Spirit fill you with even more of an unction/urgency to share your heart!!! This was both convicting and encouraging!! God bless, fam!!
Ducccccceeeeee!!! This is sooooo needed fam. Thank you for being present during these times. Love you Bro.... Ps I still remember us chopping it back in the gap rolling in flames whip during the st Louis shows.
I agree and deeply appreciate your overall assessment. "Satisfaction in Jesus is low. Love for the church is low. Biblical literacy is low." It's sad but your assessment is true. I agree with all that. I especially appreciate your thoughts on having a spirit of grace and power and loving enemies. Grace, love, self-control, and forgiveness seem to be lacking in a lot of these convos. My main disagreement with your view (based on the video alone) is mainly sociological not necessarily theological although the sociological disagreement will most certainly have different application even though a similar theology is shared. 1 example: You mentioned the "burger king" thing vs the shooting of innocent black men for the "feeling of danger." These are just single examples in a plethora of data. There are plenty examples to the contrary. I know also you're interpreting these incidents through your experiences and presuppositions as am I. A handful of events or experiences don't ,in themselves, prove anything about society in general. My overall assessment on America's racism issue is this. Racism is probably less common than many black folks think, but more common than many white people think. All that being said. If biblically minded folks do not see eye to eye on racial issues but both agree on the gospel and are passionate about the supremacy of Christ over all things, and love one another. I really don't think the difference in the way they interpret society makes a big difference. I think this issue actually has to do with understanding the role of the church. So. 1. What are your thoughts on what I've said? 2. What is the role of the Church? (This I believe is actually the most important question in the "social justice" discussions)
Man you preaching , sadly many will still fall into that cesspool. To many led by the flesh and not the spirit as Paul spoke of .
Nah, you aint the only one that feels that way👊🏾🙏🏾
