  • The Original Indianapolis Indiana | Mile Square Downtown... In this video we literally scooter around the original square of Indianapolis Indiana laid out many many years ago. Mile Square is what many think downtown Indianapolis is but in fact the downtown area is much larger. However, this part of downtown Indianapolis has a tremendous number of attractions and is extremely compact and walkable. In this video we used some rental scooters to get around a little faster rather than walking but could have accomplished the same thing just in more time. When visiting Indianapolis you'll certainly be helped by knowing the street names and why they exist. Once you have that knowledge it can become very easy navigating the downtown area of Indianapolis Indiana... even without GPS!

Interesting reading where apparently there were negative comments. I'm like whatever. I have worked in Indy for years. I guess I would be considered a negative person because I would never consider living in the city limits. I live up in Lebanon and I love it. I have lived in other areas BUT I still love Indy for it's opportunities. Some of us just are not urbanites lol. Thus said, please explore further into central Indiana. For example these days southern Boone County, the Whitestown/Zionsville area is essentially a suburb of Indy. Good work thanks.

If you move to downtown indy only get a condo with indoor parking (break in problems outside) if you want a cheaper small house with garage and are a hipster Fountain Square is older area with restaurants and Broard Ripple area has many bars and night clubs. If you don't want crime and desire a descent house and yard then move to the outskirts of i465 loop to greenwood on south side, greenfield on east side, Brownsburg on west side, or fishers, Westfield, Noblesville on north side. Stay out of downtown at night if you can and before you leave LA you must leave all of your liberal ideas there

Thank you for the videos. I recommend visiting Garfield Park and doing a video. Nice old homes surrounding a beautiful park. Close to downtown. The park is wonderful, especially in the summer with the Saturday farmers market and its event schedule with events like Jazzfest and Irishfest. It’s a neighborhood that is starting to be discovered. Thanks again!

However the perimeter metro counties crime rates are all extremely low with places such as Fishers, Noblesville, Carmel, Zionsville and Westfield frequently at the very top of the best places to live in Americs in multiple publications..Its funny that in
