I went to Corey's grave, all the way from the UK, it was 10 years ago now, it was the reason I went to Canada, and I love the country now, been 8 times.
This is so cool. I’m a little late watching this, but I always spend a good week or two watching all things Corey Haim around the anniversary of his passing… It’s hard to believe he’s been gone 14 years now and I love him even more with each passing year. Now on to watch one of my favorite Corey movies ‘Prayer of The Rollerboys’. Cari seems so sweet and genuine. You should do a story time with her so she can share fun stories about Corey aside from his films. I wish I could’ve known him. I don’t know if he ever knew how very loved he still is all these years after he left us. He is deeply missed. Corey Haim was literally literally LITERALLY the coolest kid/trend-setting INFLUENCER of the mid to late 80's., even into the early 90's! Even tho this sounds like a pretty novel statement, Corey had whole generations glued to his presence. Really am grateful for his presence in my life, albeit through the screen. Nevertheless, he transcended the screen into the hearts of all of us. Thanks for doing this interview Cari and Scott. Long live CH in out hearts/minds. Eternal love and peace to all the family! :)

This is great. I know I was young when Corey Haim was popular in the late 80s but I remember having the magazines with Corey on the cover and in them. I still remember begging my mom to see License to drive (at age 9). Saw The Dream machine in theatres with a ex friend. Now as a adult I have my collection of his movies and remember my inner 8 year old heart breaking when I found out he had passed.. P.S Cari is adorable
I just want to thank Cari for being so strong and open for doing this. Even though we are fans, that's her brother, and losing a sibling is very hard to cope with. I lost my sister and we were super close. It's been 6 years and i still cry in disbelief. So thank you Cari for giving his fans this time and thank you Scott for making this possible.

A lot of people would be annoyed with this fan stuff, especially considering a lot of people regard his young life as tragic, she didn't have to go out of her way to do this.
I really appreciate Cari sharing all she did about her brother, Corey. He was quite a talent! It hurt to see the way the mainstream industry allowed him to fall through the cracks after he'd proven early on he had a natural ability, and would've self -corrected if only given those golden opportunities once again. In my heart of hearts, It sorrowed me that there weren't enough talented writers willing to write characters with Corey in mind to elevate him back to the top where he first cut his teeth, imo.
I came across your channel a few weeks ago as I was searching Corey Haim. I'm 34yo, and obsessed with nostalgia. I grew up watching his movies; I've been watching one of his movies each morning this week, finally showed my 14yo daughter "License to Drive" last night. Love your videos Scott! Also, I'm French Canadian (born and raised in New Jersey) so I have no clue what the difference is between FC & Canadian haha All I know is that my grandparents were born there and that I have family there whom I've never met. 🤷🏻♀️ I've noticed Coreys' 11th year anniversary is coming up next week; do you and Cari have plans for a video? Cari seems like such a sweetheart, I feel like talking about Corey helps keeps his spirit alive; but I also can't help but to wonder if she ever just wants a conversation without the attention on Corey; like not just known as "Coreys' Sister". So sorry I missed it as I would have loved to participate in the give aways but 5am proved too much of a challenge for this sleep deprived mum in the UK 😅 Cari we love hearing your memories of your beautiful brother and also hearing about your projects. I've been rewatching all of Corey's movies and must admit I've cried a lot, just because of how wonderful he was and how he just lit up the screen every single time. Those of us who loved him and grew up with his movies miss him beyond belief so I cant even imagine how hard it's been for his family. Lucas doesn't get enough credit for its relative realism of wanting the girl in high school that you don't get. He earns the respect in the end but he doesn't get the girl. We all assume he got the world's greatest second prize ever with Winona but it isn't shoved in your face like some perfect fairy tale ending. It's bittersweet.

I remember when Corey Haim & Corey Feldman were all over magazines and major stars. They were both 2 of my actors in the 80's. I always tried to see any new movies with either. License to Drive. Dream A Little Dream. Usually Corey Haim played the one that tried to show some responsibility in the films. Feldman usually played the sidekick to Haim's character and the one that was kind of wild and a little odd in some way.

Scott, I'm going to repeat my entire question here so you will understand why I asked about Corey being in the Hollywood Christmas parade........so the question was: Around 1988 or 89, Corey Feldman was in the Hollywood Christmas parade. I know this because I was there. I shook his hand while he was on the float. At that time both Corey's were very popular. They had already made lost boys and maybe license to drive. I was shocked that Feldman was in the parade. So being that both Corey's were good friends, I was just wondering if Cari knew if Corey had considered doing the parade as well at that time. I was just curious. I always wondered what made Feldman do it. By the way, after I shook his hand and his float continued, I think fans went crazy and they had to get him off. I remember seeing his float making a turn and for some reason, it stopped for a very long time.

Yes, I knew for years that it wasn't Sheen either, & I used to speak up. People would get angry at me for disbelieving that it was him. Unfortunately, I must confess I believed Brascia initially also, when he used to deny it. Then when Corey's best friend revealed that it was Brascia, I realized that I was duped.
