My sister and I used to go into a field when we were kids to collect a ton of flowers so we could eat them. If I ever see them growing, I still eat them
yes, and it is very tasty! To me it tastes of raw Kale. It is not bitter at all. The mature flowers give a sweetness. I like it raw or mixed in a salad. Although it is in the mint family, it does not have a "mint" flavor. HTH

Yes it is. Flowers, Leaves and stem are all edible and very tasty.
