- A lot of times I see people who don't angle their tank in the slightest. In certain vehicles like the Maus this can mean certain death. So how does one turn weak spots into seemingly impenetrable areas?

This will not turn your SPAA with 5mm of armour into a behemoth capable of soaking a t-10m shell.
+Krebs Thanx Krebs very helpful to plays I always angle especially against people who don't know where to shoot you :) One of my best anglers are the M-10 and M4A3 105 which the second I stood on a cliff al day while shots bounced off, they got my gunner though, and when I was setting artillery I accidentally drove off and got one shotted by a Stug ._. STUG LIFE

That intro is growing on me, its unique at least.
The Tiger 1 is another tank where angling is critical, since its' hull is pretty much a big box with next to no sloped armor to speak of.
+Chris Teet yeah, if angled, 85 mm can't pen you on the hull but can pen you in the turret, unless you angle that too
+They Call Me The Anti-Troll the turret is flat in the front and it's only 100mm thick. This is what he is saying you should also angle

I wonder why every time you angle your tank, the enemy always shoot you at the hull or side armour, the turret was facing the enemy straight on!
The Maus has 2 loaders so benefits from the bug where its loading time isn't effected from loss of crew. Like the Tiger 2 105 and Jadgtiger. Surprised you didn't know this Krebs.
A Maus with 2 crew is just as dangerous.

How to kill a maus? This is what you need, an m22 and cap the objectives fast like and all sneaky beaky like, then save up for b29 and hope you don't get shot down then ran the maus and you got a kill

lol yesterday i was in a custom battle in a t-34-85 vs 2 other t-34s and they couldn't penetrate me at very close range because i was angled and i was hiding the weakspot (the machinegun port on every t34). i killed them both and they raged in chat :D

war thunder is one of the hardest game i played
I can side scrape in my panther but the enemies always pen me in my turret or even sometimes at an extreme angle into my sides.
You need a PREMIUM ACCOUNT to make angling to work in this game. Everybody know this.
I really wish they would fix the reload speeds in this game, it's just not fun to play when you can only shoot twice per minute. And it isn't historically accurate either.
+5 Perservance a well seasoned loader can load the shell in 4 seconds, without lap-loading. I guess Gaijin would have us believe that all the loaders in War Thunder all are blind and have cerebral palsy

Thats the all around logik of WT....shoot a tank always straigth in his strongest point because THAT is always his weakpoint! Russian programmed nonsens....do they really think this would work out this way in real? (not talking about freaking post war ammo) Ohhh Tiger 2H,shoot him direkt in the turret front ...because its flat he die instant...try that in real......reeeeaaally try it.
