As an FYI, the Greek word for "church" is "ekklesia" and it means an assembly or congregation. An assembly is "an assembling or coming together of a number of persons, usually for a particular purpose" and a congregation is "a group of persons gathered for worship, prayer, etc, esp in a church or chapel." So a person can have a "church" with a group of friend while talking about God. A church or chapel are simply buildings used to gather a large "church."

It's so sad that people are stopping Christianity because they find it boring to go to church. Church doesn't HAVE to be boring! Youth groups are a prime example because the Christian youth try to make it as fun as possible. An even worse excuse is because people want a sleep-in on Sunday mornings. Is having an extra hour of sleep every day so important that you'll sacrifice your soul for it? You only have to get up at around 9 if your local church is close. Try the Salvation Army. It ROCKS.
