Unfortunately, it's one of the least picked songs, and when you hover over it in playlist, it's the only song that doesn't shake the background when playing.
Megaman Unlimited is basically a Megaman game made for veterans of the series. It didn't surprise me at all that they themed an entire stage around yoku blocks.
MythrilMan but you can only go to this level if you collected the letters so it's at your own peril I am still stuck in this stage and i really want to clear it
considering that Yoku man can be the easiest boss in the game, just jumping on the blocks shoting him and follow the block that he haves above his head
What a crazy song, and the way it incorporates the Yoku Block sound effect into the song is clever... Also, imagine my surprise when I found out that this song was in Just Shapes & Beats
chris redfield You're not going to believe me. He is an homosexual internet celebrity that always like to entertaining himself to whole world for making money to promote more propaganda of himself to distracting us for the world event.
Megaman rock and roll also has wily stage 3 which you are forced to play as roll There is a ton of trippy stuff there and many devil enemies, which signify the appearance of yoku devil, that stage's boss
'Yoku blocks, we've been at each other's (proverbial) throats for ten games and countless spinoffs. You've never liked me, and I've never liked you. Let's settle this once and for all!!'
Man you gotta love the disappearing reappearing blocks as part of the music. Imo, the blocks are one of the creative concepts and puzzles in the megaman series. It tests your patience and timing with the precise jumps. And Yoku Man's stage is is just an ENTIRE area filled to the brim with them. It's the biggest challenge for every Megaman player out there. And I love it. Even the fight is awesome.
-Get 4 items found in Robot Master stages, similar to the Beat and Rush plates from Mega Man 6 and seven respectively -Wait for Yoku Man's portrait to briefly show up (If you beat all 8 Robot Masters, you might accidentally go to the Wily Stages) -Go through a stage with enough Yoku Blocks to take up a whole screen (maybe more) -Fight a boss that's pretty much just as tormenting From all this alone, are you really sure it's worth it for a Hornet Chaser kind of weapon?
Yeah his power makes protoman way easier, can grab energy lodged in walls and in the boss rematches kills yoku in two hits. Pretty damn helpful but god is it a pain to earn.
Every once in a while for the longest time pieces of this song would flash in my head and now I finally figured out what that song was. Guess this song was so good it was stuck in my head for that long lmao.
Kevin, amazing work on this track. I've always loved the disappearing blocks as a staple of the franchise, and putting them in as part of this song works so well. Unlike some other commenters, I found it pretty easy to tell which sounds were part of the song and which were coming from the blocks in the level. These puzzles are all about timing, and if you're focusing on the rhythm that the blocks on-screen are appearing/disappearing, this other song shouldn't be throwing you off.
HATEHATEHATEHATE *HATE!* That despicable Yoku Man and his insta-death fake-outs! And the theme......I can't unhear it every time that familiar sound of an appearing platform comes up. Damned fiend. Nice music, but what a pain in the neck!
SaviourV well, Yoku Man Omega is one of the easier omega robot masters. He's one of the robot masters with harder perfect than omega in my opinion. (the other one is Yo-Yo Man)
So just to be clear.... For re people who came here from jsab, the part by mega man's lower left foot is the helmet of yoku man. Oh and if you don't know the series, mega man is the character in the middle.
A stage that's based around my frustrations: Mazes- Check. Platforms turning into enemies~ Check. Projectors that make me unable to see~ Check. Reappearing Dissapearing Blocks~ Triple~check with a rage face. Well, I got through it by watching a speed~run! Yaaaay! :3 Also, I can't be the only one gullible enough to fall for this: [fires charge shot at Yoku Man] [doo-doo-doo-doo...] " *Yes!* In your *face!* Now to time to see what your wea~ [he respawns directly where *I* am, resulting in *my own* death] Wait, *what* ~ *how* ~ [notices life bar only *half* empty] ... Either he's a *very* convincing illusion master... ... or I'm just an idiot...
Sparkzz AGM Situational awareness is key to success in Mega Man, and I know the game wouldn't be generous enough to let Yoku-Man die in one hit. I beat this boss before charged shot was added. It was the most painful, most satisfying challenge I have ever had in any Mega Man game, though that certainly doesn't excuse the poor level design.
I didn't think Nail Man's theme could be topped until I got to this guy's stage. Easily my favorite song in the game (thus far, I haven't done anything post-8 robot masters and yoku yet), and the use of the phase block sound effect is just so perfect.
This is a great game and I just bought jsab and heard it there and like wtf how did a mega man fan game music get in, love both games cant pick one I prefer I finished both and reccomend both.
If someone had told me I would enjoy a song using Yoku Blocks' sound ah ah! Awesome music, awesome stage, awesome boss...everything is fuckin' awesome in this level! :D Thanks for such an 8-bit masterpiece ^^
Best song in the game. Tries something unique and does it incredibly well. Add that to an awesome melody line and you've got yourself an amazing track.
I finally managed to get past this stage after hour of learning how to not fail! At Yoku Man i was like "It's YOU! YOU gonna pay for all this!" Man when i defeated him it was most epic moment of happines after beating Megaman boss ever! Thank you for such great experience :D.
I don't know whether to love this stage to death, or hate it and curse its conceptualizer to endure various forms of excrutiating, over-the-top torture. XD All I know, was it was quite an enjoyable ride playing through this stage, gushing over all the clever tricks and traps. You should have seen my realtions to the enemy-blocks, and jumping into Yoku-spikes. It was a blast. :3
nail man had the instakill spikes... trinitroman had the instakill lava.... rainbow man had the instakill lasers... yoku man has the disappearing blocks... everyone has the bottomless pits.. i forget who if anyone outside wily himself had the ceiling crusher but basically this game is a repository of all the most annoying deathtraps in megaman history.
Clement: _"AHHHHHHHH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~, I can't get my fucking mind of those disappearing block sound. THE HORROR~~~~~~~."_ Wondering what kind of reaction that Clement is going to face after being through this stage. Definitely going to be hilarious. =)
Yoku Man is without a doubt the most evil robot master ever conceived in a Megaman game, & this theme matches that evilness. Absolutely perfect theme, & I wonder if Teckworks can do anything similar to what he did with Wings Cut Through The Night
*sees this level in jsab* Oh boy, a hard fan mega man level made it in a hard game. This is probably going to be a nightmare. *gets S rank on hardcore after only three attempts* Wait..... WHAT???
You know you're screwed when the MUSIC tries to kill you.
xD Oh! It's You!
literally jsab
the yoku block sound?
You have king crimson power, are you (or you mean by other rhythm game)
this aged well
I'm just amazed that a fangame track got into something official like Just Shapes and Beats.
I freaked the hell out when i heard this in challange mode playing with a friend. I love this game a lot
Public domain character, baby!
Unfortunately, it's one of the least picked songs, and when you hover over it in playlist, it's the only song that doesn't shake the background when playing.
I bet the devs did it to honor all the great fangames out there :)
@@ITS_MysteRmaybe it's not as rock esque as the other songs in the game and that's why it doesn't shake the game?, who knows.
This song got to just shapes and beats... Somehow...
😮😮😮
Because they wanted Kevin Phetsomphou.
yes
I no
I'm glad that happened, this song was one of my favorite when i played jsab back in 2019
Putting the yoku block sound effect all over this track was clever and dickish.
The ENTIRE STAGE IS DICKISH.
+Cinko420
I wanted to see clement having nightmare after playing this stage. I really wish that happened.
Megaman Unlimited is basically a Megaman game made for veterans of the series. It didn't surprise me at all that they themed an entire stage around yoku blocks.

*When Berzerk Studios runs out of ideas:*
Actually, weird fun fact: this stage predated the final game by a fair bit. Talking “was the original stage 2” kinda predate.
Comet Woman's earring looks like one of those anime "the character is feeling annoyed" symbols right above Yoku Man's head... it's just so fitting.
I always thought Rainbow Man was Yoku Man because of that comment.
Rainbow Man: I have the hardest robot master stage in the game!
Yoku Man: Hold my beer

A stage dedicated to the worst Mega Man obstacle ever...
At least the music catchy.

yep that weapon helps you out so much later on
Yeah his power makes protoman way easier, can grab energy lodged in walls and in the boss rematches kills yoku in two hits. Pretty damn helpful but god is it a pain to earn.
You do have to fight Yoku man in the boss rematches, and his weapon two-shots him, so at least fighting him early lets you basically skip the rematch.
I cant play any other mega man game ,hear a yoku block sound and not get ptsd now
The fact that the community made a Robot Master designed from the Disappearing Blocks goes to show how wild this game is.
Every once in a while for the longest time pieces of this song would flash in my head and now I finally figured out what that song was. Guess this song was so good it was stuck in my head for that long lmao.
Yoku Man is hands down the most unique boss fight I've ever seen in any Mega Man game. His stage theme is pretty hype too.
Despite the difficulty, I think this song is awesome and that this was the most fun to play stage in the game.
Kevin, amazing work on this track. I've always loved the disappearing blocks as a staple of the franchise, and putting them in as part of this song works so well.
