Hi Temi, thank so much for your kind words! =) I think the best place to learn a language is in the country! If you're coming to BR, let me know the city and I see if I know a good place... in Rio there are many schools and a lot of people learning! Online I don't know any special website....
Extremely helpful phrases in this one! A good one to add would be "Your welcome" after someone says thank you. These videos are super helpful for my upcoming trip!
I was walking and repeating what you were saying until 'where is the beach' hahaha had to stop and make sure i was hearing it right haha😅 Obrigada. Very good vid. Im 2 weeks into learning
We're coming there for three weeks in october/november and the language barrier is my biggest concern haha. Trying to learn some phrases but Portuguese is hard especially after spending a bunch of time learning spanish. Some words are similar, some are completely different and pronunciation is unpredictable haha
So helpful. More like this, please. And perhaps how to understand answers people might give. If the metro is 3 kilometers down on the left side of the mall for example, I won't understand. Also I want to ask "How do I say "X" in Portuguese?" so I can learn more vocabulary as I go naturally.
you're so cool you teach very good👍👍👍 but you have to say *beach* different por favor because it means something different how you say right now kkkkkk your content is amazing
Hi Eric! normally in restaurant/bars the tips are included in the bill. it's normally 10% so yes, we normally pay this 10%. Tour guides are also common to tip... and the amount depends... hotel front desk/drivers I don't think so! hehe!
@1:04 Olá, como vai? Can you teach me how to say: 1. "Do you speak English?" 2. "I'll have a very large coffee please." This is for my upcomming trip to São Paolo. 🤠👍
What is the difference between these two phrase I hear people from Brazil who first language is Portuguese use both of these phrases and they seem similar but also seems like there's a difference between "Tudo bem" and "Tudo bom"
@@onlyinbrazil4736 I know... I used to give private classes to Brazilians... This is a trick I always told my students: when you want to say "beach", smile. So your lips should stretch a little bit when you pronounce the hard "ea"... When you want to say "bitch", don't smile. Keep your mouth still and just open it and close it. Hope that works for you! 🙏🏾

I was going to say the same comment. I love the video, but when you said beach I nearly dropped my phone! Lol
Thank you for the tips. On a different note, is it common to give tips in Brazil? Like tour guides, hotel front desk, bars,…

Oi G, gostei muito. Você ganhou um assinante novo... Só uma dica de inglês. Cuidado com a palavra 'beach.' Você falou 'bitch' que é cadela ou p*ta. 😉
Obrigado! We brazillians have difficulty to say the word Beach! I will try it harder! Thanks for the advice!
❤️
🙏🏻 obrigada!
