I actually like mirror being +2 levels, it creates some fun never really seen before interactions. The buff has also made mirror finally meta which is good to see.
Maybe this is just me but this deck would have been better before the nerf right?

I don’t think mirror needs a nerf, but egiant needs to be able to die without a building or negative elixir trade They need to go back to what it was before the buff when the damage was high but the health was not 9% higher The card either needs a major nerf or a rework
@@cwetz226 I just dislike the card in general. I think a good rework would be to revert the nerf but make the reflection damage work in timed waves instead of hits. So if the waves are every 3 seconds then a zap would be sent every 3 seconds and anything in the field when the wave is sent out is all zapped. Make the egiant powerful but less frustrating and more skilled

@SirTagCR, i used furnace instead of elixir collectors, and mirror furnace with egiant, paired with executioner tornado. It seems OP.

Mirror is just beyond broken rn. It's so much fun too! Almost all decks have a way of slipping in mirror. Provides great versatility. How do you think they should nerf it?
Even though its lame to go back to the way it was, they NEED to nerf it to be only 1 level higher.
It was still a fun & good card at level 15. Especially with how players can now mirror the card they played before a champion, mirror got substantially better. The versatility it offers right now, along with the pay2win experience of level 16 cards is unbelievably unfair in a TON of different decks
it just makes broken cards even more broken like rocket, e giant, and giant skeleton to top it, its just gets really annoying now with like example rocket cycle decks with 3 card cycle u can just spam rockets so many times and u can't do anything
i think it will still be viable at one level lower due to 3 card cycle; but it will use its real utility in bait decks… idk. i think they shouldn’t change it but rather buff defensive cards against egiant / royale giant like goblin cage, inferno tower health and maybe even pekka… but this is a controversial take and i wouldn’t like it

Just make mirror cost the same amount of elixir as the previous card but -1 lvl. Will make it more of a skill card as it's gonna benefit low elixir cards mostly.
I been running a 2.8 e giant mirror deck on ladder. Egiant,mirror, cannon, bats, bomber, tornado, arrows, skeletons. The two spells and the bats mixed with e giant covers all of your air defense. And the bomber skeletons and cannon mixed with egiant covers ground troops. It’s kind of a meme lolol but you gotta know how to do it

Rework mirror back same level same elixir but the cards are raged up. Mirrored spells deploys rage area effect. Mirrored rage spell will have longer duration.

Yeah most people think nerfs are "the END of the card" but in reality its simply an opportunity to play the card in a meta where less people are expecting it & less people are building decks to specifically beat it :D

However as a mirror/egaint player on midladder the meta with giant skeleton/zappies/mirror, pekka bs often with mirror to, royal reqruits with mirror zappies isnt a happy place for egaint players know....
They should nerf mirror and giant skeleton because its anywhere.
I like the mirror the way it is since its finally usable. I think the only other way to fix it is to make the elixir cost the same but no level increases. Either way I don't find it that hard to counter.

i think this is how they should rework electro giant:
electro giant zap damage should be dependent on the amount of troops attacing it, the less troops attacking the more damage
buff health to be around 4000 hitpoins on lvl 11
nerf hit speed
increase radius
and give a big nerf to mirror
this should make electro giant easier to defend, a megaknight or something like a mega minion will be able to tank the electrogiant, with the buffed hitpoints the players will need to be more creative defending the e-giant instead of just putting down a building. the electro giant will be much more punishing when left alone however.
The nerf to mirror will make the e-giant mirror decks to be less effective and other electro giant decks may be the meta
I played against mirror E-giant only one time and beat it on midladder and I've been riding that high ever since

If someone has inferno tower and pekka they'll likely overcommit or not be super good at the game. Just focus on stacking elixir collectors, wait for one of the inferno tower/ pekkas to be out of cycle and then go in. Mostly focus on getting that elixir advantage and finding an opportunity rather than trying to brute force your way through that type of matchup
There isn’t a deck running those 2 cards so he can’t make a video about that, it’s pointless since it’s not likely to find them together and making a video on how to beat an original deck in general wouldn’t be useful

Jake, I have played this deck over 30 times, with a high win rate. But I have noticed, elixir collector is never in my starting hand. I went back through 30 replays and it was never in my starting hand. Is that intentional on the part or Clash Royale?

This is a deck no one has ever seen before, and I was wondering what the interactions would be at 6k trophies and lvl 14 cards. As always, keep up the awesome content and assert some dominance!
Mega knight, Pekka, Hog rider, baby dragon, E wiz, tornado, guards, mirror.
If you feel like it'll work better, you can definitely sub out the mirror for something else. The way I play this deck is I let a mega knight or pekka tank for my hog rider, and if they place a building, I'll go for a mirrored one and it'll usually deal 2000 damage. Im always trying to improve my decks, just like how you're always trying to troll ladder. Ty (5401 trophies)

I feel like Mirror definitely needs a nerf but how it gets the nerf is the hard part. I feel like the extra two levels makes it viable when it hasn't been for a while so the solution should lie elsewhere. Maybe it makes the mirrored card cost 2 more, or would that be too much?

There is an even more toxic e giant deck, e giant sparky! This is the deck: e giant, sparky, mirror, golden knight, tornado, lightning, mega minion and e wiz. I got this deck from a TH-camr called bigspin and he played it at 7k trophies.

I think that the heroes using double ability per drop is good. If the opposing player does not deal with it is on them. If supercell further nerfs the heroes it will leave them less valuable. Therefore, making them like every other card.
The broken mechanic with heroes is that they allow for much faster card cycling, therefore it might be hard to balance them since the heroes change how decks work compared to regular cards

Currently 8-0 with a deck that I made, wiz, mighty miner, royal hogs, ice spirit, log, tornado, rocket, mirror.
Egiant needs a 1/3 tile range nerf (or more), I want to play inferno dragon before he locks on tower.
Edit: or they could just revert egiant to its 8 elixir version, it seemed pretty under-rated before the buff.

You know what I think still needs a nerf, balloon. People who bridge spam balloon with rage and zap or freeze as their first move right out the gate are impossible to stop unless you have a hard counter.
