I'm a new mom too! My son is 12 weeks :') One thing motherhood has taught me is how important having a supportive partner is. It makes parenting more enjoyable and less exhausting, both physically and mentally. I am so grateful for my husband's help. Single mothers are heroes and deserve the world.

Your videos are the only ones that give me hope. After 15 years of abuse and living a lie with a narcissist it ended in him leaving me and my kids. I miss when they were babies and long to experience that with a kind and true partner. It is usually trigger for me to watch these type of things as I missed out so much, but I’m reminded I have so much and God can and will still give me an amazing partner.
Girl same here. Thanks for sharing now I feel normal. Both of my kids love being held and breastfeeding 24/7. They use me like a pacifier for comfort as well and refuse to use actual pacifiers lol. I just had my daughter and now that I'm juggling two I feel so bummed out that I can't get much done around the house. I had to remind myself that it's only been six weeks and that it's an adjustment. My sleep schedule and energy levels are just not the same as they used to be. Being a mother requires constant adjusting. I'm trying to be more patient with myself and understanding that the household is just going to be in disarray for awhile. In the meantime I'm soaking up the time I have with my children and the time left over I spend taking care of myself.

I feel like all my baby did was cry and she always wanted to be held. My husband and I did "shift work"..lol. Pumping and nursing AND trying to get very basic things taken care of was extremely difficult. And that was WITH a support system! I just want to tell you that it gets SOO much better and you both are doing exceptionally great. Keep it up and keep sharing. Let people know the REAL... BABIES CRY!!!! ALOT...LOL

Wrapping the baby would give you guys the most so much room to do more and get sleep and a real break even together and the baby would be so happy! When they are born they want to feel like they are in the womb and when their arms and legs are free they can’t control their own body so they are fidgety 😬 My gift to every new mom is always a baby wrap! It’s a game changer!

It was so cute how Jackie was by the door ready to go in the beginning. And I've never heard of a broccoli pie. But I love broccoli so I like the idea of it. I also like the lights outside of your home and how you've decorated. To be honest I like how good the two of you are together. I remember watching Maya's video from when she was still in the U.S and how she was saying it's how Max loved her that was different. As someone who has been in an abusive and toxic relationship in the past (thank God I'm out of it) one of the things that I'm learning is what a healthy relationship is like. There's a woman named Lisa Nichols and I once heard her say "You deserve to be loved in a healthy way." I wrote it on a sticky note and put it over my bed because it stuck with me and was so profound. But when I see you two that's what I think of. I think of an example of healthy love. Broccoli ( I love) but it can cause gas. You might want to restructure your diet Maya so she has less gas that hurts and babies do not like gas pain. Review your ingested veggies and see.

Excellent job at capturing the realism, like the photography collage to whoops this is real life with baby crying in the background lol. And I don’t when it’s the last time I saw a realistic view of a kitchen during and after a meal, that’s hasn’t been staged and where everything is perfect. Honestly it makes me want to try the recipe lol. And great team work guys!

Such a good video. Just some advice - baby carrier needs to hold your baby much higher on your chest, close enough to kiss so you are more aware of her airway. As she gets bigger and her torso gets longer you sit the carrier lower on your waist but she always needs to be close enough to kiss so her forehead is just under your chin. This usually means putting the waist of the carrier high on mid section when they’re newborn
Broccoli may be very gastric for breast feeding mom. baby may get a little discomfort. Get Gripe water. Helps baby stomach My husband loves cooking too. He makes all the holiday meals and makes meals whenever he likes ❤️
Awwwwww big love, hang tough u 2. My son was a little premature so only 5lbs. But I used to hold him belly down face in my palm, settled in crook of my elbow, body resting on my inner forearm elbow to wrist, or flipped it's called football cradle, he loved that...🤔

Yes girl, get you a man who jumps in there and does it too...I'm loving Max for this. And Maya, you're a great new mom; I know it's hard but keep it moving with patience and a sense of humor. We didn't sleep straight through the night until my daughter was 4 years old. It does get better. Put a piece of your clothing next to her when she falls asleep so she can smell you. It may song weird..but it works...it comforts them. P.S - something that was worn...not washed loll...like a bra or T-shirt.

Yes girl, get you a man who jumps in there and does it too...I'm loving Max for this. And Maya, you're a great new mom; I know it's hard but keep it moving with patience and a sense of humor. We didn't sleep straight through the night until my daughter was 4 years old. It does get better. These day in the life might seem mundane and boring to you guys to film, but I think it endears you to your viewers. Peace and namaste to you all.
