I always loved Debbie Reynolds and what a wonderful human being she was. She left a great legacy . I was so lucky to see her when she toured with Don Rickles. She sang, told stories and did many wonderful impressions of famous people. ♥🙏♥
I always adored and appreciated the many talents of Debbie Reynolds. My favorites were Debbie, Sandra Dee, and Natalie Wood. I loved Debbie in Tammy and the Bachelor, she was so natural and adorable. I remember watching unsinkable Molly Brown in the movie theater when I was a girl, she took my breath away with her dancing, as I was taking lessons myself.
We could definitely, Especially Now, use more people who admire what Henry Fonda and his characters, in many of his movies, stood for. Truth, decency and Democracy.
Debbie Reynolds was so talented! You wouldnt believe she never took dancing lessons how strong determined, dedicated can you get? She was amazing! And i just loved her RIP .Miss Reynolds you were a pure treasure
Best music intro ever. When you hear those trumpets you just know it's a Sunday morning. It has a distinct feel different than any other day. Kinda like ESPN college game day is only on Saturday
I love all these wonderful stars and have autographs from all of them, except for Meryl Streep. Debbie was one of the cutest, most talented women in Hollywood history. Tony had an urgency about him that made him come alive on the screen. Hank epitomized on the screen what men should aim to become: honorable, respectful, generous, disciplined, and audacious. Kirk had a fire in his belly that showed in so many of his roles. And Meryl can be anybody. As Nora Ephron said about Meryl Streep, "I highly recommend having Meryl Streep play you."
0:43 best biography i ever read, and i aint a Hollywood nor music business troll. This woman was uniquely special. A loyal friend if you were her friend.
I'm sure it has already been suggested but it seems to me that Meryl is is a true "spiritual channel" an intuitive channel. I get it and some who get what I am writing get it so how beautiful to see her so humbly speak on what she does.

I saw an old episode.of What's my Line on TH-cam and Debbie Reynolds was on it just before she married Eddie Fisher. She was so funny. I had no idea she was that funny.
I totally agree! And she's still talking about it. There's a bitterness in the tone of her voice and behind her eyes whenever she speaks of him. I'm sure he wasn't perfect. However, neither is she. You'd think that after all this time, she would have moved on.
Jane always wanted her father to be proud of her. He would brag about her to others, but never tell *her* he was proud. That, and his distance, affected his children deeply.
@@cherylkoski7184 Not for someone of his time and place. This was known as lounge wear, back in the day. It was at home wear that ladies and gentlemen wore at home-including when they were entertaining guests. For the ladies, they had clothing called hostess gowns that fit into that category. Just very old fashioned.
@@cherylkoski7184 I'm referring to his place and time. He was born in 1925. His heyday was the 50's and 60's. His talent is undeniable. He and Janet Leigh are Jaime Lee Curtis' parents, all three excellent actors. He was born in the Bronx of immigrant parents. Men then and there wore this type of t shirt as a matter of course. If you ever see old movies, you'll likely see this, along with other customary ways of dressing from those time. People of his place and time dress the way they do, just as other generations. He is free to wear what he wants. There's northing wrong with it. PS I wear some of the same types of clothing I wore decades ago. Some things don't go our of style or fall out of favor. So what?

I'm very happy that Kirk Douglas live to 103. A full life for a terrific human being

Extraordinary moments on film. Thank you!
Tony Curtis was simply beautiful. ❤
Yes, he most certainly was! I remember the Flintstones character, "Stoney Curtis,". Too fun :)

Singin’ In The Rain! My favourite movie!
I love and miss all of these people!
God I miss these actors. True to their art and genuine Americans

Back when the stars shone so bright that you couldn't see the slime that held everything together.
Debby is a wonderful person and deserved much better than the men she married!😮

That was Hollywood at it's best.
what a crime that Henry Fonda never won an Oscar. Great group of stars to feature.
Henry Fonda won an Oscar for Best Actor for "On Golden Pond" and died a few months after he won. This is a great group of performers to highlight.
She’s the best

Kudos to Tony Curtis for insisting that he and Sidney Poitier receive equal billing, back in 1958.

Why is Tony Curtis wearing underwear during the interview???
It isn't underwear. It is shorts and a tank. At home clothes.
It's inappropriate for a TV interview.

Tony Curtis's paintings look a lot like bad Matisse copies, even down to a tiny bowl with two goldfish.
