Have you seen The Woman I Am from this same VEVO showcase? That song is one of her best imo....it has such a cool vocal motif as the hook, a really cool syncopated rhythm, and some powerful vocals. Also....in that VEVO performances, she makes this _face_ after the line "I think my sense of humor made things confusing for the heart" that just cracks me up. I love her sense of humor....
I love Aurora's VEVO performances. This was certainly performed over recorded backing tracks, but even then, she adlibbed some of her her vocals a bit, which is nice. I'm sure it was done because in 2021 they were still being cautious of Covid. There are several other VEVO performances of her new material, recorded with her actual backing musicians and backup singers, which are also amazing. She certainly knows how to write a hook into a chorus. Great reaction! Obviously VEVO was forgiving in not blocking these videos. Don't wait 4 months for the next! 4 Hail Mary's.
It is not often she does a "singback" performance, usually she has her band doing live instruments and maybe with her own voice in backtracking for TV performance, but this time she chose the visual performance with the dancers instead of live instruments. She was in New York on Nov 10th-14th 2021 for a Late Night with Seth Meyers performance and a normal concert in NY. There are other beautiful Vevo performance recently where she does have her band doing live instruments: "The Voman I Am", "Exhale Inhale", "Potion For Love". There is a lot going on with Aurora: She has a collaboration song "Storm" with Taiwanese singer/songwriter "Qing Feng Wu", with a beautiful music video on her main channel. If you like Assassins Creed she has a song "Hunting Shadows" for the 15th anniversary (no live performance). She did live performance of "Take Me Back Home" by Hans Zimmer and Camila Cabello in The Royal Albert Hall for the BBC Prom with a promotion for the BBC "Frozen Planet II" documentary series. Aurora is on the soundtrack for the series which will be released on Friday Oct 7th.

I just went through all your Aurora reactions. Love it. I have to say though I’m shocked you haven’t done Running with the Wolves yet. You tend to like her bigger fuller heavier ones and Running with the Wolves is one of her best with that feel. I also very much recommend you check out Apple Tree. I think you’d like that one a lot too.

Love the song in both versions. Great song for sure but which one from Aurora is not :)? In live version I especially love this "tribal" part after a bridge (slow down). In live version it is louder and sounds even better then album one. Also like this "one shot, live video". At first this song was higher in my Aurora's new album ranking, now it is a little lower because some other songs grew in me in the meantime :). But her voice and song is just beautiful.

i have to admit that aurora is a really good artist, but i really love only some of her stripped back live material. her studio albums are not my cup of tea, it's too much pop for my taste and the sound and even her voice are too much manipulated. whatfor? her voice is brilliant as she proves many times in different live recordings. and when it comes to pop tunes i prefer for example susanne sundfors ten love songs.
