Thanks Pradeep. Ather is definately a fun, sporty bike. I agree it could do with a bit bigger battery definately, and maybe a slightly lower cost. I was going to get one , but after finding it would only give about 75km range new and likely 60km at end of life, I switched to ola because of larger battery. Stay safe in these crazy virus times.
Please compare the speeds with Google maps. The EVs can't be trusted for there speed on the screen. As the case in ola it was less by around 10-15kmph from actual on top speed.

The initial on the Ola is bad. Ather from the start tries to throw you off the scooter. Ola takes a little time then it starts flying. It does not have the initial. The difference is because of final drive ratios. 9:1 for Ather and 6:1 for Ola.
I feel like 450plus is enough for an average customer, 450x and plus speeds are almost the same beside the warp mode which i feel alot of people won't be using in this traffic .

Yes because it is always dangerous situation for us. You can find pedestrians casually Jay walking the highway , People change lanes without indicating , animals on road and even vehicles coming at you in one way roads because they don't want to take longer route and save fuel.

Ola accelerates much faster in hyper mode than ather warp mode. My ola touched 125km/hr on speedo. Actual may be 105km/hr.
