I love how honest y'all are. It's so much better hearing something that you don't like but in a polite way. Such as the pumpkin or intestine in the soup. It's much more respectable that y'all tried it and gave an honest opinion rather than lying just to say it's good lol. You 2 are awesome and fun to watch. As a foreigner and also Cambodian, I would stay away from the raw meat/seafood. Our stomach is not made to tolerate exotic food like the natives. You will most likely get food poisoning and it's now fun in a foreign country. You're quite brave trying the raw shrimp and I hope you didn't get sick the following day. Enjoy the rest of your vacation in Cambodia and be safe! Thank you for sharing your adventures in beautiful Cambodia! 😉😘

It tastes very fresh, and we have been travelling for over a year now and basically eat anything and everything haha! We didn’t get sick luckily. ☺️ But that’s good to know! I'd definitely be steering clear of raw seafood, selling as street food That's how things like Hep A and Typhoid are transmitted. Cooked and a long line of people not so much a problem.

No we just made it to kampot and then went up to siem reap. We actually fly to phu quoc tomorrow which is near that area but in vietnam 🇻🇳
The noodle soup you had is called Kuyteav. It is just that we have many different types of Kuyteav.

I can taste the avocado smoothie. We do that in the Philippines too! Really yummy when it's like a frozen sorbet.

@chaseandshelbs, it's noodle soup. The word you're looking for is "kathew" which just means rice noodles.
If you guys see this, you should watch the documentary “Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten” which is about Cambodia before the 60’s and it’s music around that time as well as what happened during the Khmer Rouge and people’s actual experiences. I highly recommend to watch the trailer on it so you can see what the movie is about.

When I was in Siem Reap I was afraid to try the street food. I really wanted to see Angkor Wat and was terrified of getting sick, as I was only there for a few days.
Nothing beats raw fresh seafood. Honestly!!
We love sushi but this was a new delicious surprise having big raw shrimp in a salad😍 chase still isn’t conceived.. 😂

@23:00 that's pumpkin not yam and the noodle soup at the end is basically the same as "kuy teav", the difference is kuy teav is made with rice noodle and the one u ate was made with silver pin noodle

We were in Siem Reap over the new year and I could not bring myself to trying any of the street food. Good on ‘ya! We just ate at our hotel for just about every meal. We loved Angkor Wat and all the surrounding temples. Enjoy!
Aw! Maybe next time.. but part of the fun experience is getting our there and seeing what the food is like! You guys would probably like it, it’s beyond tasty. So glad you guys had an amazing time though. Cambodia has been amazing so far 😍 enjoy as well!
