Very, VERY late to watching this video, but a massive thank you for it. It's probably the only video I've found that has a true budget raid counter build for the new (2024) player. I started playing at the beginning of April, and most (if not all) of the YT guides I could find were asking me to fill my squads with Pokemon far, far beyond my current ability to acquire. They all seem to cater for the established PoGO player who can summon a squad of MewTwos for a raid and if that fails, a squad of Rayquazas, which makes us newbs feel a bit out of our depth. So really, thank you for this video as it is very well organised and gives very sensible suggestions. Any chance you could do an updated video for Pokemon currently available? :)
in all honesty - this video needs to be sent to all PoGO players. i’ve seen other videos that breakdown “the best” ‘mon to have and they show this crazy looking chart that is very meta heavy. unless you live in the world of PvP that chart is not useful. this video is straight to the point and easy to understand. well done, mr. milo, we’ll done indeed
This is the video I needed. Having come back about a month ago to Pokemon Go (I only played a couple of months back in 2016) this is exactly what I've been looking for so I can get myself up to the point of doing legendary raids. One of the easiest subs of my life!
Welcome back! 💪🏻 hopefully you enjoy the game and start building those raid teams! Defo look for Magnemite, Electrike, Electabuzz, Darumaka & Litwick in the current event in game 😁
PLEASE tell me you saved your pokemon from 2016. Any pokemon from 2016 or 2017, when traded, guarantee lucky trades, so those pokemon and whichever pokemon they are exchanged with are guaranteed great stats. Each account has a fixed number of guaranteed lucky trades but regardless, you need pokemon from back then to carry it out. Surprised nobody else mentioned it yet.
@@BobJones-xm1llI have some from 2016 I'm saving 🙂 hopefully I can trade with people in the future for units I would really like to have, like my favorite Pokemons giratina, Darkrai, and Groudon 😮
I missed out on few earlier com days so I’m looking forward to December and also I wasn’t lvl 40 for few Aswell like gible so I’m glad to be able to get xl candy’s thanks for the advice :)
Great tips! It is very helpful to the lower level players and even some that may not have the proper teams. Would love to see proper teams in raids as well. Thank you for this information.
Thank you so much!!! I’m a new player and have been trying to build up good raid teams with what’s available. I still have to face off with Giovanni and I don’t have any ice Pokemon with enough power or moves. Looks like I need to trade with someone. I will be looking for all the spawns you have recommended in December, plus evolving an Eevee into Galcion. Your video was just what I needed today, I was getting a little discouraged. Your video was clear, precise and informative it will help me to move forward. Thanks again!
Start your December Com day prep people! Thanks again for a great Video 😊 This might be handy 😉 Piplup,Rhyhorn,Abra, seedot, weedle, gastly, magikarp, porygon, electabuzz, magmar,Machop,Roselia,Fletchling,Snivy,Swablu,Gible,Tepig,Eevee,Oshawott,Duskull,Shinx, charmander
This is very helpful for me. I am a returning player wo stopped playing right after the Sinnoh dex came out. I am missing so many of the newer Pokemon. My best ones are from the meta when it was good to have multiple Tyranitar, Machamp and Hariyama.
Hello, amazing video, thanks! I'm a returning player that played in 2016-2018 and 2020-2021 so I have a few of these and I'm currently gathering more powerful shadow pokemon like Mareep, Abra and Shuppet. Could you also make an updated list and talk about what changed between new and this (a bit older) video? Also is there an easy way to get Fast/Charge TM's + Elite versions of these and could you make a tutorial about getting them?
This was really helpful dude I appreciate the fact that you appreciate budget efficiency love the video spot on from what I know keep it up supporting the low level players dude.
love ya vids bruv watch every one I can. Brilliant and in touch with players needs. Even though I am quite an advanced player, these tips are useful to me thanks a million Milo.
Hope you found the video helpful! Defo look to build some good teams up! Also check out my Festival of Lights video, some of the budget counter picks are featured in the event :D
Glad you found it useful! I'd say a couple of things, if you play a spotlight hour or community day or an event with a useful Pokémon in it. Hang on to them and trade them if you can do! Also a good place to start is just to search up the typing in your storage & see where you are with (say Dark-Types), then you can work on increasing the CPs or quality of that typing. Check what events are happening and what they contain. Good example it the new "Test your Mettle" event starting on Friday 16th. It's going to have Beldum spawning, so chase those! Hope that helps
hi jimmy yes its me lol for grunts a good togekiss with 1 ryperior you wont need a 3rd great league riolo obstagoon with fast charger night slash conkeldur focus blast plus those 3 beat all leaders too good luck ok ty for tips ill use them
Good video ,but you did not talked about the moveset and thats important to new players! using unfezant with steel wing and heat wave would not do much against a virizion for exemple
Was looking forward to this vid and you did not disappoint !! Will get onto making up these teams and prep for December. Thanks a million, it’ll improve my game immensely.
Um no, the video is showing (at the time of publishing) what the cheaper but effective raid counters are of each typing. For Example, vs Zacian you can make a team of poison and steel types 👍🏻 it’s up to you

That's pretty much my raid teams with the odd couple of legendary in each team. Cheers Milo very helpful
This is such useful information! I think these videos are great. There are always new players (and casuals) that could use some inside info. A+

I don’t know why you don’t have more subscribers but I’m subscribing for sure really helpful
TH-cam is a grind! Thank you for subscribing 🙏🏻
You could make a YT short of just the way Niantic chooses a recommended raid party. That insight is enough to push anyone to think more strategically.
Thank youuuuuu!!!! I started just a few weeks ago and was so lost as to where to start building up without a $ budget, this helps SO much. ♥♥♥
Glad it was helpful! 🙏🏻
Few more Pokémon have become available so check out websites like PokemonGOHub and SilphRoad for up to date guides 👍🏻

I’m new to the game this is good coz i watched a few other they all mostly mentioned shadow Pokémon legendaries and Megas
solid recommendations there. im sure mudkip is in a quest at the moment for walking 2km.
Thanks for the information, hope it helps all the new players 👍 fantastic blog Milo 😀

These are great. I am a relatively new player (L37) and always use the recommended party for raids.

Nice one Milo!!
I've got a 100% Eevee. What is Eevee's most useful evolution?? I'm presuming it's Glaceon??
Such a helpful video, any advice or resources to use when deciding on what to focus on building a team? I’m personally really casual
Glad you found it useful!

do you have a video that’s for non budget counters that include shadows, legendarys and othee strong counters?
I don’t on this channel unfortunately, did do some raid boss specific raid guide back in the day
Was looking forward to this vid and you did not disappoint !! Will get onto making up these teams and prep for December.
Thanks a million, it’ll improve my game immensely.
i’m laughing way too hard at you telling niantic boss to shut up 😂😂😂 absolute gold hahahahaha
he needed a lil cameo haha
I think some of those people bring unreasonable choices on purpose to win stamina specialist raid achievement
possibly lol
Nice video 🙂
"Virizion is double weak to flying".
I'm gonna be that guy 9:13 💀
So ur saying raid with only one type of Pokemon ? For raid team
