Moved a 180-ft boom lift from Inyokern, to the port of Oakland.. All the windmills, need tall booms for maintenance.... And the rentals end up staged there. 😅 memorable transport
Hey man I love your channel and have been watching you for awhile. Quick question Im a concrete and framing contractor who recently started his company a couple years ago and I noticed from you saying you live in Bakersfield.if you don’t mind me asking how did you get into plowing snow and building in mammoth lakes?I’m in Los Angeles and I’m looking to venture out and have been trying to land some projects out there as well as get some more info on how you start a plowing business. Any info helps brother.thanks for the great content keep it coming 🤙🤙
Hi Ben, loved your video! We usually travel this way over to Swall from Oakhurst. An interesting spot before you get to Tehachapi, exit at Keen, and you can see the train loop over itself. It's called the Tehachapi Loop for your railroad lovers. Here's some more info on that. We also stop regularly at Tea Donuts off Exit 202. Best donuts anywhere & Chantha is a sweetheart. The Tehachapi Loop is a 3,779-foot-long (0.72 mi; 1.15 km) spiral,[1] or helix, on the Union Pacific Railroad Mojave Subdivision through Tehachapi Pass, of the Tehachapi Mountains in Kern County, south-central California. The line connects Bakersfield and the San Joaquin Valley to Mojave in the Mojave Desert. Rising at a steady two-percent grade, the track gains 77 feet (23 m) in elevation and makes a 1,210-foot-diameter (370 m) circle.[1][2] Any train that is more than 3,800 feet (1,200 m) long-about 56 boxcars-PASSES OVER ITSELF going around the loop. At the bottom of the loop, the track passes through Tunnel 9, the ninth tunnel built as the railroad was extended from Bakersfield Looking forward to your next adventure! Gary & Julia
Ben I have to agree with you on Murray Family Farms. It is a MUST stop especially for those Okie Pies. Basically a gourmet version of a Hot Pocket. They make for a great driving snack. Most of the in store items are rediculously marked up in price but a very nice selection of roadtrip snacks. As soon as you said you were taking 58 I said to myself I hope he stops there. 👍

29:55 Red Rock Canyon has a storied geological history, but one element that affects the present is the Garlock Fault, which runs right through here and is chiefly responsible for the chaotic makeup of the rock formations. Garlock Fault is significant in that it is the only LEFT-lateral strike-slip fault of any size in California, which is opposite of the direction most faults move. Pretty long fault, too. 110 miles long from where it meets the San Andreas Fault over by Gorman all the way out to the southern flank of Death Valley.
I used to be in trucking and i completely understand where your coming from with drivers on the roads. Love those stops to the family run farms. Cool stuff and friendly people.
Trucks are the reason I don't travel I-5; it seems they wait till you are right on them when they cut you off to pass. It really pisses me off to no end.
I know Truck drivers pass partly out of boredom but I too do not understand why they can't wait 10 or 15 miles for a level or downhill stretch to make their pass, they have no business being in the fast lane when they can't go close to the speed limit. I wish the police would hand out some obstruction of traffic tickets. Inconsiderate truck drivers sometimes make the difference between kind of heavy but still flowing good traffic and a backup and when you are trying to go a long distance thru rural areas backups are very frustrating.
Hey Ben, does your girlfriend ever travel with you back and forth? Never see her in any of your videos since the road trip on the coast. She doesn't hang with you much??
Really liked the music toward the end of the video. Thanks for sharing more of the natural beauty of your area.
Glad you enjoyed it
Those case dozers you can get theorem filters off e bay sold in pairs…🎉🎉..cheers

The King Ranch in Texas is the biggest in the US at 825,000 acres.

Cool . I’ve driven past that area for 30 years and didn’t know that. Thank you for sharing.

Tractor's pulling equipment trailers is nothing new here in the Northeast..
Gonna be el Nino this year my boy. That's what all the weather reports are saying.Good luck😁
26:30 Tesla semi is going to fix that, it'll do 65 all the way. 😉
You need to throw some cheap white paint on those plywood walls of that trash truck of yours! To help keep your professional image squeaky clean!

The air bags on that semi look deflated.Once they air up it might not match up with that trailer.
Good point I’ll double check that!
She must be a fugitive of justice if she doesn't like to be on camera lol! What female doesn't like screen time and shopping??
You aren't going to have enough weight over the drivers with that pintle setup.
Move the load forward
