Lolol. I randomly stumbled upon his hockey videos after not seeing his star wars videos for a minute. A couple videos in it struck me like "This dudes voice is super familiar" then I saw his channel name and was shocked lol
I started watching for his hockey content and then found he had one more channel and it was for Star Wars. The two things I am obsessed with. And two things that could not be more different. What are the odds
I'm a Sarnia Sting (OHL) season ticket holder, but I've always rooted for Halifax out of the Q since watching the MacKinnon/Drouin mem cup. That team was so fun to watch. Hopefully it's a quick turnaround for the Mooseheads.
Recently moved to Portland, Oregon and looking forward to catching some CHL action next year with the Winterhawks. Here's hoping for a Moosehead v. Winterhawks match up in the Memorial Cup some day.
Looking forward to another season watching the Moose. Until September rolls around, the Wanderers have been a ton of fun, highly recommend going out and experiencing a game if you haven't already bud.
Hey Eck, when your team loses players, it doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. I'm in London, home of the Knights (OHL). The Hunters do a great job of managing, drafting and developing players to keep the team competitive even when you lose key players every few years. Prior to the Hunters buying the team, the Knights were not a very good team. Yes, there was a handful of players over the years, but they weren't very good. I remember the 95/96 season, where they went 3-60-3 (no, that is not a typo). Three wins all year.
Frakkin rights Knights been at least decent every year since the Hunters, London born and raised and I remember those years where you looked for a player to cheer for because the Knights weren't going to win. As a kid I was big Brad Marsh fan ....lol
Wow, hadn't followed any of the CHL trades, amazing return for Cataford, and pretty fair trade as Rimouski will have the luxury of pairing him with Alex Blais on that first line, potential fireworks there. Those picks for Halifax, as you mentioned, already yielded a good draft return this year plus give some security for the next 2 drafts, either on their own or as tradable assets. Keeping Rousseau is also great, as would be keeping some of their good defense, do you know it they can they keep this quatuor of Schultz, Furlong, Moravec and Phillips ?
As a jackets fan, it really sucks about Jordan Dumais and I am really hoping nothing similar to the DUI happens. Watching him in training camp he looks so good.
No disrespect, but that was a pretty solid 1st round for Titans. That's my local team. The captain, Milo Roelens, came in clutch for us. But it was a well fought round of the playoffs. It was really nice to see games 3 and 4 at home
man, hearing all these towns like Moncton reminds me of the old AHL days, with teh Nova Scotia Voyageuers. The Fredericton Express etc. Can't remember the Moncton name though. I was a Maine Mariner fan and we had big rivalries with these teams. BTW, is it true that Halifax hardly ever gets any sun?
As a Kamloops Blazers fan I totally get your pain...Just add not having your own 1st and 2nds till 2028...And in your first year in the basement you give up the 2nd exceptional status player in league history...Hurts still seeing another team use our pick to draft Landon Dupont while we trade our Captain and really only remaining bright spot for a much lower selection.
Chin up Eck, my London Knights had just a stellar year and then lost the finals in the Memorial Cup ....... frakkin host team we had already beaten in the playoffs, uuuugh
If Dumais can keep his nose clean, he could have a decent career in Columbus. Fantilli, Lindstrom, and Sillinger are all good sized physical centers with skill who can allow him to play his game at a higher level. However, people wondered why he fell to the 3rd round and you just wonder if it's attitude. The kind of attitude that leads you to making horrible decisions like DUI when you have everything going for you. Maybe this situation wakes him up and he learns from it. But just a crappy way to end his Moosehead's career.
Rimouski is doing exactly what Saginaw Spirit did…. Bolster their roster in the summer before they host the Memorial Cup Tournament. Saginaw Spirit has their best season in their franchise’s history. To this point.
You’d expect maritimers to default for Montreal or Toronto (MTR for myself), but there are plenty of Boston and NY fans too. Not as many Detroit or Chicago fans, but the original 6 are big in the maritimes. Colorado too, likely a holdover from the QC days. If I was a Haligonian, I’d have to pick Boston as my #2. But…I’m a Habs fan and I can’t stand Marchand.
@joelmacdonald6994 my grandmother was from St John, she had to like the rangers thanks to me, my Dad, and grandfather, but she was a mapleleafs fan at heart
Came to you for Star Wars, stayed for hockey. My 2 favorite fandoms. Awesome stuff. You rock
No ik it’s so funny as I stopped watch the Star Wars videos I started watching these it has to be a streak of like 5 years of watch eck religiously.
Yooo me too

The Winterhawks should be lethal this year, after losing in the finals I bet they’ll be hungry
I grew up with Dylan went to school with him. Always been a good dude.

I appreciate the classic clickbait titles. It's a good channel. Be honest, we did watch the video, no doubt.

Wait so you live in Halifax and cheer for the rangers?
What’s wrong with that?
Also hates on the bruins, its pretty odd
I should check the O draft. Looking forward to watching the 67s this year
Your truly the aunt jemima of our generation 😤
What does that even mean
I don’t watch Quebec hockey I watch WHL (Go rockets!) but that’s the thing with juniors, players age out
bro why didnt i know my favourite star wars lore nerd is also into hockey?!?!
Ah you’re from Halifax. Now I understand the name of the channel.
Is there a rehab program in the CHL?
i was today years old when i found out that Eck is also Nova Scotian.
I am excited to see what this team brings next year am I sad to see mackinnon vidi and cata go yes but that's the way junior hockey goes
i wanna have a beer with eck at the pint
The Q has produced some of the best players to ever play the game.
Great thumbnail
Very excited for the eagles

Didn’t they hire a new coach as well for this year.

At least the mooseheads can rebuild a team. My local team has a terrible gm. Who can't even rebuild a team. If he even tried.
I hope the young man can get things straightened out.

every host team does this lol
