Yes and remember the imperium technically is technology advance than today time. Also be mindful when any forces (with the exception of tau) they most likely are close to a warp based area so psychic stuff is possible.
If I recall the spears have explosives' on the ends.

Question: Are necrons able to create new troops? Since necrontyr are gone and the necrons were made by the ctan which are gone, does that means that their number will dwindle over time as they die in battle?

Maybe but i think Is a process very slow dead soldier can be resurrected and damaged parts can regenerate since are made of living metal
They cannot create new ones but it is impossibly hard to kill one. If you deal damage it fixes, if you deal tons of damage they would be teleported back to their tomb and repair. You have to deal ALOT of damage to kill them and then they explode in a giant green light to stop others from gaining their technology. However they can create other units like scarabs and all the others that arent like their infantry.
The Necrons can Transform Humans with the Extremly rare Pariah Gene Into Pariah Necrons. Most Other Necrons are finite as far AS my Knowledge goes.
Im pretty sure they removed that in the new lore though, they just completely erased it for no reason

It is really cool to know Necrons are not just mindless machines but a society with codes and values.

It depends on the dynasty controlling the armies. Some dynasties want to take over and subjugate the living races and eventually become living again, some want to exterminate all life in existence, others just want to collect lost technology and improve upon it, others just want to be left alone, etc.
