Okay, so that's a nightmare. It's 2022 and it should be WAY much more intuitive. And I tell you, how. I load the sim, and when I can see the 3D cockpit, I could switch to "key binding mode". After that, if I click on a button or a knob etc. of any instrument in the 3D cockpit, then I just have to press a button on ANY of my devices and it's DONE, it's binded. This is the only acceptable solution in 2022. Have a great day!
Setting up the Honeycomb controllers is becoming very frustrating. I didn't know it would be so involved or I would have gotten something simpler. But I keep trying. The profile mentioned in the video looks nice but I'm not pay $50 for it. I'm trying to use them in Xplane 11. One thing I'm trying to figure out is this. I have 4 monitors; 2 in front of me and 2 behind me on another desk with my Honeycomb and racing controllers. I can't tell in Xplane that it "sees" all 4 monitors so that I can pick the 2 on my desk to run the game on, instead of having to move the display through my Nvidia software. Has anyone tried this? I kinda don't think I can make it work.
To Luke Olender: After a few emails back and forth with the manufacturer they could no help. The only work around I found was to load the starboard fuel heavy. This is something they need to address. There is a lot of other things promised but taking a long time getting here.
Unfortunately. Mac users will struggle as they will not be able to import a profile, as all files are greyed-out. Aerosoft do not have a solution for this either. So no, all users cannot use it.
Hey, are you still having this problem? Being a developer myself, I could find my way around some of the directories behind the scenes and edit some files here and there. I have now got it working on Mac, and I believe I can make the process simple enough for you now, in case you still want it.
@@lukeolender711 hi luke having problems importing the file here. Any solutons? I have .json files and I can't use them. I'm using a MacBook M1 pro. I got the flight configurator working it's just the profile import is a pain.
Check to see if the cable that connects from the yoke to the controller is pushing left. Mine was slightly tight and made my planes bank left. Unplugged, stretched a bit, and now it slops a little but does not bank.
Does this work for X plane 12??? I am getting very frustrated with the setup process using a iMac M1
Any idea how to get the Honeycomb Configurator to recognize the .json files as valid? Your files can't be imported in to the configurator
why would you need to set a prop axis on a fixed prop aircraft? Same with mixture, there's only one mixture control?????
I noticed there is no configuration for the yaw and roll trim as is with the pitch trim.
Five days ago the aircraft became available for X-Plane 12. Let's hope this video gets updated for the X-Plane 12 version soon.
also I'd like to see this 172 work with Realsimgear G1000

Is the next video posible whith Saitek Yoke? Thanks
Gonna love it really want to get it but I have no money lol
I went through all of this and my plane still banks to the left rather aggressively.
I’m having this problem too, have you found a fix to this since your comment? Thank you in advance.
