    The delicate translucent appearance of this craft and the beautiful rich purple makes me think of a precious gem. The way she dances so freely and gracefully in the clear coastal air is pure poetry in motion. As she frolics in the sky like a ballerina and almost teases one with those elegant maneuvers, she tells me her name is Amethyst Dancer.

    I would call it the "Agiletto" for Agile-Stiletto. The ability to slip or fly "sideways" without changing direction and keep flying straight and level is extraordinary. That would be a highly desired capability for crosswind take-offs and landings, as well as cruising with a rear-quartering tailwind for full size aircraft. Your flying and video work is always the best. Excellent design!!

      @@elmar2B The Ocean Breeze is the only design I've tried to draw up a proper plan before starting the build. A friend then digitised them for me, so they could be uploaded. Wow your glider rocks in the air, very beautiful lines. You could call it Deep Purple like that band from the 70-ties. They were good musicians for sure. Dimensions would be handy even if I can estimate it on sight, just to ease our pain. Don't need much, wingspan, wing cord, fuselage length and fuselage diameter at leading wing edge. THX.

    The way it darts effortlessly and with the tail configuration it must be the BLUE DART. Side note, there's no slipping or skidding apparent, so she's happy in her design. At first, I thought the combination of pointy tail feathers, rectangular windg and drop shaped fuselage doesn't fit - But it quickly grew on me, half way into the vide I alreay loved it! :) Its clearly got some WW1 biplane vibes with the described combination of shapes... The shape of the fuselage and tail kind of reminds me of a Exocoetidae "a Flying Fish" which happen to be good gliders. Short story: One year I was in a jetski race from Catalina Island and back. On my return run a flying fish popped out of the water and was cruising in front of me for 30-40 yards. At the time I was doing about 50-60 mph and I could swear he was out pacing me. Once the stringers are glued in place it holds its shape nicely and it can be removed from the building board. Then you just build the top half directly onto the bit you’ve already done. I have tried flying with FPV but it’s really hard with a slope glider. The biggest problem is you are normally facing the ocean so you don’t really get any perspective on how high you are, how far away from the slope you, are or what speed you are flying etc.
      A few years ago I did try flying PFV with a powered model and it was easy by comparison.

      Anything from a Westerly round to a Northerly. SW is okay off the dunes.

    Hi - The Lilly Glider ? 🤔

    I'd call it Helium! That's soooo sweet! Dude if you've got any washout in it take it out for better snaps! It's not going to tip stall!

    • @SlopeRCGliders
      @SlopeRCGliders  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I don’t generally put any washout in any of my models.

      @@SlopeRCGliders Welcome. I love that purple Heliumonster: It has unique almost dirigible flight parameters: SOOO cool!

    Man, that thing is beautiful. What kind of covering is that and how can I get it in the States? How about Pandora for a name?

    • @SlopeRCGliders
      @SlopeRCGliders  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. I just used the cheap unbranded covering from Hobbyking, if you can that in the states.

    Looks like a flying fish… ergo, the Exocet. However, it also reminds me of the blue fish that hangs around with Nemo, but I can’t recall his name.
    Well done creating another distinctive ship. I’ve just adapted Lee Renaud’s Esprit into my own take, and called it the Merlin. Maiden any day soon. 🤞

      Thank you and good luck with the maiden. I like the name Exocet.

    I would love to build on of these! Any chance that we can get a cad file???

    • @SlopeRCGliders
      @SlopeRCGliders  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately I don’t have a CAD file. I just draw a basic outline on paper then make all the detail up as I build.

      @@SlopeRCGliders Darn it! I've built your Ocean Breeze as an electric. The thing can fly for hours in a single charge! It's so beautiful. Please let us all know if anything becomes available as a cad for free or charge, and I'd certainly help (free of charge) for any drafting work that is needed!
