As someone who was personally rooting for Vaxei, but completely acknowledged both players skill and would have been fine with either outcome, I can't be happier with how much suspense there was and how close this match was. During the tiebreaker point, when Mrekk gained the lead and had combo advantage in the final stretch of the map my heart was probably racing faster than both contestants. Amazing match and so incredibly close despite the sheer caliber of these two players really gives a perspective on how crazy skilled some of these players are.
Same. As a long-term Vaxei rooter, after being so used to seeing Vaxei clean sweeping his opponents, that tiebreaker was as close as it has ever gotten for Vaxei to being dethroned out of his longest tournament win streak.
