This was so good, thanks so much, in 10 hours I have designed a large circuit board and sent it off to JLCPCB, all off this video, you are a star, thanks so much.
This is a very nice, easy to follow, tutorial for those new to PCB design and KiCAD. I've seen a few KiCAD tutorials that span several episodes and an hour or two of view time. They're comprehensive, but contain a lot of information not needed by someone just dipping their toes into the waters for the first time (designing their first project board and the like) which can make KiCAD seem intimidating to use for the first-time board designer or hobbyist. KiCAD is a powerful design tool with which a designer can create intricate multilayered PC B, but using it is really quite easy. My only criticism of this tutorial is that the entire project could have been implemented on a single-sided PCB but it would have been much larger to accommodate traces and layout.
Today only I heard about KiCAD and I have downloaded it. I saw the video, Very nicely explained sir. Thank you very much. I will be in touch with you for your kind guidance.
Thank you very much for this very helpful tutorial. It is my first time using Kicad today and this guided me well from beginning to end of my simple test project.
Thank you very much for your excellent video and explanations. I used this to create a tutorial sheet for our Electronics club at the University. Very well explained and easy to follow, thank you sir👏
I really appreciate your crisp and easy to use video. There are many videos that go the whole hog but somehow one tends to forget the key concepts .Your tutorial is all that any newbie needs. thanks bro for your efforts.
Hi? I have a circuit that I'm working on; I was able to draw the schematic, associate the footprint but I'm having trouble routing it. I have more connections( nets to route) than what i had in the original circuit. Can you help? Thank you in advance. Best regards, Aubin-Davy H.
Good video as a starting point to design circuits. One point I would like to add, while routing the tracks you should never turn them at 90degrees. Please read necessary guidelines for the same over internet.
Nice video.. Definitely covered the basics.. At least I know enough to get started now! Is there a shortcut to drag the whole screen around (ie: not to have to go back to the scroll bars on the side/bottom?) it would be nice if I could do that with the mouse to move between different sections of the window while zoomed in
I see a lot of zooming in and out and dragging of objects in the PCB layout tool but no explanation of how? Is that clicking and dragging or pressing the M key?
Really appreciate the tutorial! Very clear and straightforward. If someone could kindly answer either or both of my questions that would be very helpful: 1. What are all the masks selected for boards containing SMD components when generating gerber files? 2. Is there a way to place components on the bottom of the board in KiCad? Things like passives and such. Thank you!
When I place symbol its says 0 items loaded and no components are present in it..I have freshly installed kicad 5 and all libraries are present in kicad/share folder.I am unable to use components in schematic. Please help
Very nice. When you were adding the fill zone you selected the first Net component. You also mentioned that you can select any path and you will go with ground etc. I didn't understand that. Can you please explain?
Thank you Sir I need details about wire setting or I'm facing problem in wire running to components not connected properly and not get the straight line please help us again thank you🙏🙏🙏
covered 90% of what I needed in one video!! Thank you for this!
Do You Know What This Ckt Is

Great format for those beginning. Make it quick and cover the basics first. Learn the logic then learn the details.
Great video for getting started
Excellent
hey would be nice if you would tell us why you choose this explicit footprints for the components
Keep it up, nice video, thanks for sharing it :)
Good job buddy, appreciate your effort.
Nice tutorial. Thanks.

Hi make stuff....thanks a lot for your lecture...you are awesom. keep doing.
Very Good
Perfect! Thank you!
thank you. !!
bro thanks for the tutorial. It helps a lot.
Thank you!
I see a lot of zooming in and out and dragging of objects in the PCB layout tool but no explanation of how? Is that clicking and dragging or pressing the M key?
The best Video! No doubt. Would have been better if you showed SMD and how to place components on the other side of the board as well.
Why do wires sometimes not snap to the component leads in Schematics?
I do not have footprint libraries such as potentiometers and pin_headers in my kicad? what could be the reason.please help.
Thanks a lot......
Which version to use the kicad

very well done, excellent tutorial, insta-like!
Quick one, my 3d view isnt showing the components, just the board. is there anything im doing wrong? Please help
Thanks sir

very nice and simple description
Thank you
it's helpful .
Thank you
Nice job !
Does kiCad support design simulation like Proteus ??
Not like proteus...but it has spice simulator integrated.. u find it under the option Tools
thank you 😇
Very nice. When you were adding the fill zone you selected the first Net component. You also mentioned that you can select any path and you will go with ground etc. I didn't understand that. Can you please explain?
good video
I learned to design boards in eagle 15 years ago in school. I just wasted 5h on this horrible tool.
Thanks for this video. Installing kicad now!
Thanks bro
Thank you Sir I need details about wire setting or I'm facing problem in wire running to components not connected properly and not get the straight line please help us again thank you🙏🙏🙏
