Do you put any type of gesso on the canvas before painting to prevent paint from soaking thru or do you paint straight onto canvas? And do you use Angelus leather acrylic paint?

I keep hearing from a lot of sources that Acrylic paint doesn't absorb well or that they fade easily on white or light colored shoes. But yours looks solid and vibrant.... Was all that talk just a lie?

There is a fabric medium you can add to acrylic paints to paint on fabrics.

you know, you can go to walmart and buy a blank white pair for 6 dollars and custom it. ive done it couple times and its awesome!

I paint straight onto canvas, and i'm not use angelus paint..but simple acrylic paint

Acrylics can not withstand high temperature wash, but I do not think that you wash canvas shoes in the washing machine
