Thanks professor mad props, I just purchased your practice test a few days ago. I didn’t pass the first one but I’m going back and reviewing the videos. Keep fighting the good fight by providing this content
Back in the day my parents tried to limit my PC access by adding a boot password, and yes, I just popped out the CMOS battery to get around it. This trick only worked once as they realized very quickly that the password was gone on startup
I switch the power off toi my PC every time I turn it off. Recently the date and time has been all messed up until I prompt the pc to sync its date and time... thanks to this video I might now have an explanation. Gonna check out that damn battery now xD
Passed 1102 last Friday, now working on 1101.....Keep it up if you're seeing this!!!
Interesting order but congrats man
Needed this. Same order for me
Thank you. Will do! 😄
@@sandartisfun if you have software experience it's pretty common to do 1102 first

These videos are unbelievably well produced and concise - thank you Professor Messer
That department of defense story is legendary. The guy just left a Random usb in the middle of a parking lot knowing someone would be curious
How do you "interrupt the normal boot process three times"? By tapping the key for BIOS?
Power down the system three times while it's booting. You can hold down the power button or pull the power cable to interrupt the boot process.
@@professormesser Thank you
,@@professormesser You are a legend! Got my exam on the 14th, going through every video and ticking off the exam objectives!

Will restarting the BIOS with a jumper fix a bsod if something is off with the BIOS?
*Possibly.* It depends on the stop error code the BSOD provides.
Who else is here because of Project M on Wii?
