What I miss the most about these nostalgic candies is the prices now get something similar,, but the prices are just outrageous just for 1 candy bar 2.00 bucks
My Dad used to like Mars chocolate bars when I was a kid. 🍫He worked for Nabisco years ago and would bring home Ideal bars, Marshmallow sandwich cookies, and Toastetts.
😂😂 The skore bar is not discontinued. I ATE ONE two weeks ago
It's still sold in canada
It's still sold in the US too
Did you check the expiration date? Maybe they’re left over from the 80’s. 😮😮😮
same with the candy milkfuls, think have also seen clark bars too
I think skore bars are still around I have seen them!
Clark Bars are Superman’s favorite candy 😉
Clark and Skor are still available. Do you research before you make these videos?
Summit bars were DIVIIIIIIINE!!! I used to buy them at my summer day camp concession stand
Why are potato chips in a candy video? Most of these I have never heard of.
Same with cookies and cereal. 🤔🤔🤔
And they're still available, too.
For a couple years York Peppermint candies came out in a round tin - Inside were small white balls with chocolate centers. They were wonderful! I kept them in my purse because they didn't melt yet provided that same great York Peppermint taste
Those were divine!!!!! Sad when they were discontinued
Keebler Tato Skins priced around 15 cents? Somebody needs to do better research.
Yes that price was not very likely at all. And, they said the Magic Middles cookies were 5 cents. I highly doubt that!
Alot of these candies are still around , if you know where to look.
Yeah, there's a candy shop in Pittsburgh, PA that has a lot of old time candy and gum. I love to stop in once in a while. ❤
I have eaten all of these candies at one time or another over the years
some I miss and others I don't but thanks for the memories.🍫🍬🍭
I got a milky way candy bar that cost 2.69. Now I won't buy any candy bars at that high of price. With the cost of foods today Is more items that will be goon. Thanks to Bidennomics.
A candy that I really liked when I was a kid were called Flicks. They were quarter sized chocolate discs stacked inside a cardboard tube with a bright foil wrapper. The cost was 25 cents. They were a go to at the movies . Haven't seen them for decades.
Add to the list of error Milkfulls identified as a Hershey product. Can the video creator not see/read Storck prominently displayed on the package.
Skor are still available...
Bonkers and Bar none was in the 80s not the 70s.
Barnone are still available in pa I found them when passing through!
Tato Skins were potato chips, not candy--the video title says candy
Not picking
Zagnut, dam, wish I could find them. 1960's as a kid we'd go to the beach all day and on the way home stop at the penny candy store, all 1 ¢. My favorite memory. Caaannndy !
Lots of errors in this video, probably none more glaring than identifying Rally as a Mars product when Hershey's appears all over in the illustrations.
and that Skor is still being sold widely, including the parent compay stating you can order from them
@@JWParkerPhDDDiv That's right. I worked in the supermarket industry for my first 20 years in the workforce. First , through the 70s for an early incarnation of the "super stores" in various capacities, then as a freelance merchandiser/promoter and finally as senior accts. mngr. for the printing company that produced ads for all the major players in the trade, including the Kroger Delta div., across multiple states. All simply to say that I am still reasonably in touch with that market. Some exceptions but products in the candy/gum sector that survived into or emerged in the latter half of the 20th century are still available in some fashion even if not widely sold in supermarkets. Many available from Amazon or specialty stores in resort communities. Long live our favorites.
Bonkers were the best need them back!!
I am still looking for a grape flavored taffy that was on a paper stick; very similar to a chocolate one, that was pretty popular during the early 70's. I think it was called a Grape Cow, but sure.
How is cereal, cookies, chips and gum part of candy? Just asking! Didn't mention the seven up bar. Some I've never had.
I used to love the skor bar. I have found a similar bar at ikea. The diam bar.
Skor bar is alive and well. It's harder to find but can still be found in many gas station candy aisles.
Milk Shake bars were plenty of tasty. More flavorful than a Milky Way. Loved ‘em FROZEN!!!!
Yes, but we’re they Deviiine? 😂😂😂
@@fredgroenke2586 Indeed! Especially frozen. They were a snack time standby at another daycamp I went to.
Clark Bars, were & ever shall be my favorite candy bar. The Butterfinger didn't even cone close. The only other candy bar I ever buy is the simple Hershey's chocolate bar, & then only every couple of years. I use to consume a Clark bars every week when I was a kid, then they got hard to find, & I could only find them by the box. Because the ones I like are always the ones to vanish, I simply do not permit myself to indulge. I also loved Bell Brand BBQ potato chips. They too became hard to find before they disappeared all together.
I was a big fan of Summit.
Yes that was a good candy bar! Marathon was another fave of mine. 😋
😢I used to love the chocolate flavored Velamints. Not crazy about Bonkers. I liked Gatorgum. Fizzies were just fun, not that good, but they tickled your nose. Summit bars too many similar bars. Don’t remember Tongue Splashers, but I was an adult by then, not into having a dyed tongue. Chicken Dinner, they were so good! And weird! Bit-O-Choc were pretty good. Bit-O-Honey is still good. Bar None? Eh! Milk Shake was good because of the malted flavor. Magic Middles, ok, but not too similar to other cookie and chocolate combos. Tato Skins! They were pretty good. Rally Bar, I can’t say I ate them very often. Clark Bar? Didn’t know they no longer made them! I guess I wasn’t a big fan. Milkfuls! Never tried them. Butternut Bar 😋 Grandma loved them. Skör Bar? Didn’t try. NERDS Cereal??? No thanks! Lifesavers Holes- a take off in Dunkin Donuts Donut Holes. I prefer regular lifesavers.
I miss Powerhouse Candy Bars
I wonder if changing consumer preferences contributed to the fall of these snacks.
Clark bar is still out it was made by Boyer but Hershey owns now boyers but they didn't stop the Clark bar
At least a third of this list is still available and definitely not faded into history. Poor research.
U can still get score bar
ido remember Bar None candy bars i never had a Milkshake Bar
America Before, if your other videos are as riddled with errors as this one your channel is unlikely to gain much traction.
rally bars were made by hersheys not mars as you said and were 45 cents not 10 or 15 cents in the 80s most candy bars were 45-50 cents you made several mistakes on some of these tato skins were 50 cents for single small snack bag and $2 for family sized bag
Cookies and potato skins are not candy, why are they in the video?
But I rarely buy sweets my health and insulin is more important 😊
I have seen so much wrong with this video. Why don't you go back and trybagain! Do a it more research..
Nerd
Cereal 👎
Clark Bars are now called Clark Cups. They changed shape.
A candy that I really liked when I was a kid were called Flicks. They were quarter sized chocolate discs stacked inside a cardboard tube with a bright foil wrapper. The cost was 25 cents. They were a go to at the movies . Haven't seen them for decades.
