Another gr8 thing is that huge battery, i can watch 8 hrs+ youtube without charging. what did i dislike? bad camera and playing graphics intensive games, which pplayed fine, but lagged sometimes. other than that, it is comparable to anyphone. I think that they both won here, because if you had removed the water from both of them, they would both work as normal. This is because the water is acting like a finger to the touchscreen and if there was more water on the Iphone than the note 4, it wouldn't have been able to handle so many 'requests' at the same time.
actually iPhone 7 has water protection but redmi doesn't as the company didn't announced it but its good to see that such a budget phone gives a tough fight to a flagship phone.
if it is waterproof (although not as in the video) I have a redmi note 4 and at dawn on Friday it fell in the toilet and turned off. I cleaned it and tried to to turn it on but I could'nt. So I left it drying. so many hours passed until Sunday when I woke up I reconnected it and started charging it (I suspect the device waited for the battery to be fully discharged to start charging) I could not believe it. I charge it and turn it on. everything is fine, the touch, the port charger, the jack 3.5 I do not have problems of any kind neither to listen music nor in the calls. I am very surprised and happy.
Just curious, but are both the phones still working? You did say you were gonna post updates, and while you are at it, why not post most of the liquid tests over the past year. After all, most phones die when the minerals in the water dry and crystallize in the phone. Unless you use distilled water?
