The amount of hardwork that goes into making wooden comb is commendable

What is the saw he uses to cut the teeth? How is it called?
I assume this is a dieing craft... would love to get one/restore one and keep the craft alive! 2:19

Hi, we don’t know the exact name of the handsaw you’re asking, but the master did mention that some of the tools he’s using currently were pretty old, mostly from the local market nearby and even modified by himself. So it’s probably hard or unable to find the same tool elsewhere. Hope it helps!

I'd also love to know. It would make small protects like this much easier.

Hello, if you are referring to the tool at 03:33, it's a type of Nankin plane. Hope it helps! Thank you.

Then do it! I learned how to make a layered wooden ring by watching one video and making several crappy rings. Now I have a matching pair for my beloved and I, cut from the same scraps of wood.
Your first version will probably suck. It's okay, that's part of the process. Accepting that your first try will be terrible is the only way to get good at something.
