What other mods did you do? Also, you just converted a standard mobula 6? I feel like I would like to go to an elrs board. The range on the frsky spi is rough.
This was a whoop I built myself. It’s a 75mm frame with 0802 19000kv motors. The FC is an AIO with ELRS, it’s the Happymodel ELRS 2G4 (their first ELRS board, they have newer ones now).
I just got the one with hdzero and elrs built in ($200). I am so new I still can't barely fly in the sim yet.. but I figured this would be a good way to learn without busting a super expensive drone.. though.. at $200 this is only about 1/2 the cost of a 5".. but I suspect with the 2S battery i'll use it wont break too bad if I crash it.. I did buy extra shells and props just in case. I have no clue how to bind all this stuff. Everything I see shows steps like betaflight, then vtx, then elrs, then.. seems like a lot just to be able to fly it.
As a peice of advice, if you get other people into FPV, help them learn from your mistake. If you can barely fly in the simulator, you are really just delaying your own enjoyment. It is so much easier to get better faster in the SIM because you dont need to charge batteries or configure a flight area and you can fly as long as your radio can have a battery. It is always fun to get a new thing to play with, but delaying that gratification a bit (even just 10 extra hours in sim) can be the difference in deciding you want a larger drone or not, or even enjoying the drone you get more because you have done a lot of the ground work already.
I switched to biblades and found them to be better, both for flight time and performance. I think the 0802 we’re having trouble spinning the 40mm triblades.
I understand the hype, but this hobby is already expensive without thinking going HD, especially in the inflation / lack of processors / petrol cost context. Besides, I don't think it gives more real sensations in HD compared to analog if you are in multis. The ONLY thing that is a PLUS is seeing "ghost branches" if you like proximity without prop guards. The main advantage of HD is more for wings. When I fly my wings in FPV, it's cool, but if I go up (and I don't often), it's all brown , white and green colors, no details. HD is then a huge plus
Analog is definitely a cheaper route. However I enjoy flying HD in every scenario from whoop and beyond. Before I would share my analog fpv footage with my non fpv friends and they thought fpv was cool but the quality was almost entirely unwatchable. But now when I send the HDZero footage they tell me how much better it looks and enjoy watching the pleasant increase in quality.
Great video Justin, enjoyed watching it and getting your take as always!
finally, i was waiting for long time , hdzero fan please don't buy a dozen let us in 😅
Great video, I haven’t flown whoops in more than a year since switched to HDZero, exited to get back to whooping with great video.
Great video! I'm a new Hdzero user but have been watching all your videos on it. Keep up the good work bud, now subbed 👍
Thanks! Welcome to HDZero!
Content is so good ATX. Well done!
you make great vids, nice editing. thanks
Thank you!
Hey dude, great video! Where did you get the print for the canopy? I've got the whoop kit ordered and it's on the slow boat to the uk currently 🎈🤡
Great review can't wait to see more 😀
0:20 is this mini Ingenuity in background ( right ) ?
Sure is! 3D printed model. The prop on the wall is actually a 3D printed full scale replica of the Ingenuity prop-it’s 4 feet long.
@@ATXAirborne I think you need to review it too :)

3.2g increase is impressive!
I want to convert my happymodel crux 3!it can be done?
Sure, I think the Crux 3 would be a great basis for an HDZero conversion with this kit.
@@ATXAirborne thank you for your help!
With a bit of planning and a 3D printer, you can install this on almost anything. I have HDZero in my Tinyhawk Freestyle 2...soooo good!
Nice paman
are there resellers in europe?
Yes, most HDZero resellers should be stocking it. Here is one, I’m sure there will be more too: droneshop.nl/hdzero-whoop-lite-bundle
Are you using 1102 19000kv?
No, 0802 19000kv.
@@ATXAirborne It handles well these 1635 triblades?

Thank God. If I had to listen to one more wokesnail video and how it's sooooooo great I think I was gonna throw my phone off a bridge.
Walksnail is like the Trojan horse sneaking in on us lol
I have seen something about that I have to watch a video to see what it is ...I assume it's a hd deal
