I just bought the Ernst Udet trio kit, have not opened the bags yet, but just looking at the decals, and all that "camo" had me frightened until I saw this. Bless you!

Hi, Ed... thank you very much for your comment. I'm really pleased you seem to have found some of the processes shown in this video to be of interest to you. I hope your own kit will turn out well, and please, if possible. practice on an old kit first. It can save a lot of heartache! Good luck... ;-).

What a magnificent trio of aircraft. Great War planes are my favorite kits and your skill really do them justice. I hope we will see you build more of them in 2024. Happy New Year!

Hi, Mark... good to hear from you. Thanks for your comments. These were the best of my WW1 collection so far that offered any decent video footage of the rigging in particular. I was on your YT page earlier, and noticed you mentioning about the demise of the WnW website. I've literally just been in on that site a few mintues ago and it seems to still be accessible via this link - www.wingnutwings.com/ww/. It's certainly a source of much interesting information. Hope you're well. and a happy new year to you, too... ;-)

@@modcon8297 Hi Paul, yes as I recall the WNW website was only down for a couple of days which coincided with my "video of mourning". I'm also glad the WNW site was restored quickly. Cheers!

Nice video, I watched your builds and seen you paint and rig your models but doing an instructional video really helped to understand your build processes. Maybe you could do a what’s up next or show us your build area video as well.
Can’t wait to see your next build. Cheers

Jeffrey, thank you. I appreciate your comments very much. Doing this type of video was a little outwith my comfort zone for some reason, but if you and others like it, then it may be something to explore further in due course. I did have a smile on my face when you mentioned the possibility of me showing my 'build area'... give me a while to tidy it up and I may get around to that one...hah! 😆 Seriously, though, it has been something I've thought about doing in the past, so it is a strong possibility at some point. And as for 'what's coming next', well,... that could be a fun game to play. My propensity for changing my mind is the biggest problem there, but I will certainly bear it in mind. Hope you had a good new year, and all the best for 2024... 🙂👍.

Hi, Marschma... thanks very much for your kind comment. The airbrush you see in the video is a 'Neo for Iwata' TRN1. I like it because it's a 'pistol-grip', so has a proper handle to hold on to; I also have an Iwata Eclipse HP-CS which is also good, but lacks a handle so I find it a little uncomfortable for my hand if I use it for a prolonged period.
The Eclipse can be seen here - airbrushes.com/product_info.php?cPath=400_403_1_9_47&products_id=18, and the Neo here - airbrushes.com/product_info.php?cPath=400_403_1_299&products_id=21658, both on the UK website airbrushes.com/
The website gives good information, so hopefully that might help you... 🙂.
