To answer the most asked question, no I did not pay $700 for this glorious collection. That was $700 additional for the extra stuff he brought that was not in price charting. But if you had that question too and you are reading this, just go ahead and subscribe to help us pass the Lions ;) . Also, thanks for watching and stay tuned for part 2!
The GameCube version of paper mario the thousand year door may or may not loose value in 2024. I guess we will see. Because if you don't already know the nintendo switch is getting a remaster of it
I am sorry to tell you is that collection is worth $50000 like you said, and he sold it to you for 700. There's no way in hell that got took a loss that bi. G, I don't care if you want to share with other collectors, you are full of s***
And this is for everybody else who watches this show. That is all b*******, there's no way this collection. Like the guy said his wife. $50000 with all these sealed games. And they sold it in for $700. That is one hell of a big, fat lie. All this stuff is all made up. Please do not believe anything they say. And please do not follow anything they say about selling online. You do not need a computer, you do not need a picture box. I've been doing this for almost 15 years. And trust me, don't listen to these people. I don't think all you have to buy out. There is video games there's a whole lot of money out there in profit and so many different other things. They are not video game related.
You will over charge your mindless fans for these games.
Wheres the video of you buying out phoenix resale ?
This man is the myth of early collectors having multiple copies. One for play, one for display, one for the collection when the value goes up. lol Love this video and that guy is cool as heck!
@mynewlife23 Maybe for expensive games. I game collect and there are a ton of affordable games you can collect at affordable prices. :D
@mynewlife23What are you on? A N64 game was around $70 in the late 90s.
@mynewlife23you aren’t lying back in the day I remember being able to walk out the store with 3 games. Now a day if you can find a physical copy it cost way to much to justify buying. But original comment isn’t lying either. Kids like that we hated because we saw it as a rich kid showing off….but now we are adults shaking our heads.
@@ytacct000 lol no it wasn’t kid 😂
This collection is crazy!
I’m actually surprised you don’t have/sell cases on your website to hold sealed games, I can image they’d be a big hit for those who don’t want to grade but still want to protect their games.
offer it as a shipping option with box (+$3.00 included protector case)
@@iliketohike So it's a case within a protector case shipped in a cardboard box.. it's *BOXCEPTION!* 😅
His wife seems awfully happy 🤣
Even if the collection is worth more than $100,000 individually… to have someone take it off your hands and not have to do all the work or have it sit waiting to sell for weeks and months…. I think many people would jump on that opportunity.
@@DOC_951Never Forget, Time Is Money 😄
I smiled but ten seconds after i told myself maybe she’s not his wife…🥶
The most important part about selling a collection is knowing that games never sell for full asking price. So while most people might think I can sell this game for such and such a price, the reality is you’re going to lowball offers and will even sell it under “market value”, especially after fees and other costs. So yeah, selling it to Chase is the best of both worlds, cash on hand and no time wasted
Why you guys overthinking a joke?
amazing collection, anyone else freak out at 18:35 when chase is just casually balancing the brand new controllers in the air!! lol
Those instruction manuals, brochures and bags are everything. They're what make the unboxing experience unique and genuine.
Absolutely insane collection. The condition of everything is unbelievable! Excited to see what you get in part 2!!
Wow that collection looks nice and this is just part one I can't wait to see the rest of this series I always enjoy a multi part series 🙂
24:00 As someone who only resells GameCube games to see those sealed games… Man… That’s an incredible sight to see…
This video was every ten year olds dream from the late 80's to early 90's....I dreamed of having all this stuff as a kid, sadly I never even was able to play any of it...This is just unreal... 10 year old me was squeeling through this entire video. Thanks for the childhood flash back Chase and crew. This collection is absolutely amazing.
Holy moly! What an insane collection! Congrats on the purchase.
Super duper Neat'O awesomeness of a classic video game buy! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️🇺🇸🇨🇦♥️💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
Wow pricecharting sponership! Downloading the app now. Didnt know they had one! Thanks man
Chase: This is a once in a lifetime buy. We’re probably never going to see another collection like this.
Future Chase: We’re buying a warehouse FULL of sealed games!
This channel never ceases to amaze me. Keep up the great work!
Also my last day at my job was Friday. I’m taking a leap of faith into full time reselling. Sales are pretty good, not matching my old job yet. But thankfully I quit just in time for Season 8 of the eBay Challenge! I haven’t done it since S1 and I’m looking forward to it.
The blessing can be overwhelming lol. And heck yeah, season 8 is a crucial one for q4!
Surely he will be watching this thinking mmm maybe I should have asked a bit more for them 🤣🤣👍❤️💛💚
as a GBA Video collector the Shrek & Shrek 2 GBA Video combo pack is actually *extremely* rare, I've only ever seen pictures of one other copy of it and I wasn't even sure it actually existed until I saw an eBay listing for it
unlike the Shrek / Shark Tale combo it's the 2 movies on 2 separate cartridges, which probably contributed to the scarcity of photographic evidence of its existence considering the only difference is the box variant
Something like that is really unique. I geared backwards and got twitches. I really turn a blind eye but in a good sense. Very crazy collection and good video! Stay healthy guys.
man its crazy to think years ago, just seeing all this stuff on shelves when you go to gamestop, toys r us, circuit city. You brought back so many core memories for me. great video, excited for Part 2
This was incredible to watch! Thanks for sharing
the fact you can financially purchase these life changing buys is a huge accomplishment in of itself.
.
Congrats on all the success thisnis WILD
and he paid the seller 700$ for his collection hes had for 40 years, what an accomplishment. best rip off of all time. i feel bad for the owner! lol
@@TheVihoit's a canon event can't interfere. It's the most reseller thing that could happen.
@@TheViho the seller set a price and agreed to make a sale. How is that a RIP off if seller set the price and buyer agrees?
Sounds like a mutual beneficial deal
But what do I know I'm a potato
@@TheViho it was also just for the extras they mentioned like the controllers
@@Jameson11ink It may not be a "rip-off" as he said he wanted to pay more, but you also cannot say it was "mutually beneficial". Dude literally would've benefitted more if he asked for 10k, and there's no question that the purchase would've gone through even with that.
This is one of the coolest videos I've seen from this channel. Wow!
This collection reminds me of the times they went to buy from hobby shop Ron. all the really rare and interesting systems and games he has are really well taken care of.
This has to be the best channel ever... almost cried of the good memories ive had with a lot of these games....
only been subscribed for a little while now and you're already my favourite channel. absolute minty fresh content. the best of the best; the vibe, the editing is just chefs kiss. chase and the team keep doing what you're doing. you guys are killing it ❤
I know its alot of work to do what you guys do, but man it must be so enjoyable and cool to be the collecters and resellers of such pristine pieces of gaming history. Just another blessing yall earned, this huge collection is extraordinary!! 😲😲😲
And what do they do?
Chase after the right price.
Another great haul of quality games and systems. It amazes me how people in America seem to look after their retro games so much better than the UK. If there's a "New 3DS" in the next collection, let me know. I'm after one and UK prices are way too high. I'm looking forward to the next video. If it turns into a series, it could be another gem like the Hobby shop Ron episodes.
i picked up the metroid 3ds few weeks ago not new great condition also waiting to hear from someone about snes 3dsxl and zelda 3dsxl sealed.
Literally no words, this is amazing
Unbelievable 👍 you could have a special sticker made with the name of the original collector on one side and Chase after the right price on the other and give one away with every purchase 👍
nice I love it, if only everyone kept their collections like this guy....
your killing it!! great collection!!
Another awesome video, Chase! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the next parts of this video! I've been in Nostalgia Heaven seeing some of the stuff that you got in this collection...
Keep up the great work and keep smiling! Believe in the Power of The Ask! LOL!
Thanks so much!
Such an awesome collection! Seeing a lot of it brought back such happy memories. That Gameboy Color is the exact color I had as a kid.
love the rat.(HUNT). great hook-up in there.
This video is going to the moon! 🚀
Brings back so many memories seeing some of those boxes. Nice buy!
Just found your channel and absolutely loving it. Bought an atomic purple game boy color today and a couple games after watching your buying every handheld video. My kids got to experience what I played when I was younger and they absolutely loved it. Thanks for reigniting my childhood lol.
That Ed Bassmaster clip was great 😂
this is only part 1! sheeesh lots of nice items right there insane pickup!
Gotta keep some off those handhelds for your personal collection. Great buyout. I’m also a lot like Dwight. Currently have 3 copies off Pokémon x and not yet planning to sell
Simply amazing. Your hard work pays off. Can't wait to see pt.2. Thanks for the great video.
You guys have no idea how much this video means to me. I saw Pier Solar in a game store nearly 15 years ago and thought it looked absolutely amazing. Being in highschool at the time though I didn't have any money for it so I left empty handed, but when I got home I couldn't remember the name of the game for the life of me. The only thing I had to go off of was the front and back of the game looked like and that it was 16bit art style. I've been searching and searching and finally 15 years later the mystery has been solved with only a millisecond clip of you guys showing the front of the box. God bless you guys.
you have awesome videos man, one of the only retro video game youtubers i watch becides scott. you are awesome, cheers from new jersey
Scott is great! Thank you 🙏
So FABULOUS!! You should invest in some all cotton white gloves for unboxing.. no sweaty hands ..No fingerprints… way more comfortable to wear🤗❤️
Absolutely insane collection!
PheonixResale is so jealous rn.
Well yea! That was an excellent collection!
Congrats! Amazing purchase
15:53 Got the Bug-A-Salt on the wall. Nice
Man only just started watching your vids but they are so cool! Brings back so many memories and now im desperately trying to find a SNES but its pretty rare here in New Zealand ahaha
As soon as you guys said something about "Meijer" I knew y'all were in Michigan. Man, what an amazing collection. My jaw was dropped the entire time watching this.
This is surreal… it’s like the games just came out from the factory…
Awesome video! I need some luck finding GH or RockBand set for the PS3 for a reasonable price. ;) Perhaps watching all of these videos will help. Congrats on such a cool collection!
This is absolute madness!
Amazing! Congrats on 100K subs Chase! 😅 I’ve never seen so many sealed games except when I was in a toys r us when I was little haha😂 CRAZY that there were so many duplicates or triples of the same games too! Excited for all the parts in this series. 😊😊
Congrats Chase u earned it.
700 bucks is insaaane congrats for this crazy deal :))
That had to have been a bit of a joke, right?
700 bucks was just for the extras that he brought outside of price charting. The collection that price charted at 50K was much more. Sorry for the confusion lol 😂
Enjoying watching your content more and more everyday hope to meet you guys soon!
Amazing collection. And Dwight is a legend.
BTS of shooting the PriceCharting ad:
Sky Guy: “Chase, act surprised!”
Chase: 😮
*everyone laughs immediately afterwards* 😂
This is the first episode of yours that I've seen but I have to say when it comes to the merchandise and price you scored the greatest haul I've ever seen, I'm a huge retro Rick and pixel game squad fan and I think those guys would almost kill for that score, RESPECT
I'm subscribing
Awesome!
Now I really don't watch anyone else, CATRP 🤘👍
Every video is better than the next , alway got crazy items
This is so rad, just to sit there and look at everything is so cool. feel like i would be there forever just staring lol
What an awesome collection!
Congratulations for reaching 100k 😊
I'm genuinely happy for you getting your hands on this collection❤
Where do you get such wonderful toys!! Chase, amazing content, once in a life time collection…
The Jaguar version of Tempest is a Jeff Minter Masterpiece and was my main reason to own a Jaguar.
Crazy collection
My fondest memory of gaming was playing Golden Eye in my N64 with the "big head" and "paintball" cheats enabled with my brother in the winter and then several years later getting a 2k edition dreamcast and playing the absolute dog crap out of a demo I got for it in a gameformer magazine and playing the Tony Hawk Pro Skater demo for hours with my friend and seeing who could get the highest score and collect the tapes and spell skate in the 2:30 timed run lol. Wish I still had them
Wow! Need to say anymore? Add, more to come. CRAZY!
id grade majority of the sealed stuff lol especially those sealed consoles...consoles definitely hold a premium and will only go up over time. an since they'll be encased they won't get any worse damages or flaws. NICE PICKUP GUYS!
I remember getting Pokémon leaf green at Costco and then putting it in those plastic cases. One time I was on a road trip and I didn’t have a way to open it so I looked at the box the whole 5 hr ride
His collection is absolutely mind blowing!!! 🤯
So nervous watching this, crazy that you have to treat these games like holding paper thin glass. Amazing collection
unreal!!! I love it!!
Yo I just want to say I'm happy to see your channel getting the attention it deserves. I honestly think you dudes will hit 200k in a couple months or so. BIG congrats and stoked to keep tuning into more videos in the future!
Means a lot coming from you. Thanks brother.
Love the sega dreamcast!! That would be a cool new controller to buy
Love these longer videos
Holy Cannoli! Wow...just wow!
Yo chase (and the crew!), love the content, if you want some custom music, let me know!
Keep up the incredible work.
That is so awesome. Sweet video!
I love seeing others collections!!!!
You guys are ok too😂
Amazing find boys
Wow. This is the craziest collection I ever seen
Amazing video!!! Eagerly awaiting part 2.
To clarify, $700 was just for the controllers and ps2 slim right?
I would say yes no way someone is going to give a stranger a collection of this magnitude for 700 dollars...if he did he's completely insane
Correct.
@@Drifter4Lme too. Does anyone know the purchase price excluding the $700 deal ?
I remember getting the teal gameboy as a kid from toys r us. I too was too excited and opened it on the way home and started playing blue version. unfortunately it was night time and back then no light in the screen, I used every street light i could to play on that trip home.
Seeing old games seeled is so amazing, hopefully ill be able to get some at one point
I am not a gamer by any means but i can appreciate what this man did as a collector. OCD at its finest. Sadly he did not capitalize on his time and money spent but fortunately he passed out to someone that will get it into the right hand.
What happened to you getting enough $$$ for that 1st edition Charizard card? Did i miss the videos where you got it? Ive only been subscribed for a week or so and not sure where i started in your videos
Haven’t gotten it yet! Slowly saving each Pokémon pursuit episode.
What a score my dudes!!
3:05 - Chase smiling about his video games while a literal funnel cloud forms behind him... for the games!
this is insane LOL. nice video as always brotha
this is amazing just looking at all this makes me feel like a kid again
amaaaazzzinnggg 😲 collection
Oooh that jojo ones T_T I have the game and manual but no case sadly very cool to see it in here
Jet Set Radio, maybe my favorite Dreamcast game ever
Let me know what you do with the 32x I have 2 that are very nice new. And they did not have a seal but I know they are new as inside plastic was still Taped. Sweet sweet find. Happy to see these gems get out to the masses
Man I remember my first time seeing Dreamcast displayed in the window at a game store and it was playing nfl 2k and I thought it was a live nfl game playing.. sheesh to be a kid again and experience that excitement about a new console!
Pure gold greetings from Sweden 👌👏🙏
Would ya look at this!? Such an amazing pick up. Want to buy some more sweet collection pieces? :)
Minty Dwight is the living embodiment of what I wanted to be a collector on a massive scale . I am doing a project which will be cool . You guys rock by the way . U.K represented lol 👍
you know its the midwest when theres a supercell in the background and theyre still just chatting lol
