They made me dread on in 1986. Still have it on. Through old age the locks get shorter, but then they get lighter too. I could not EXIST without my dreadlocks, Bible-Studies and my MUSIC! I love it to be a RasTafarian. After so many years, wisdom is only getting better. The CREATOR bless you all near and far!
The Twinkle Brothers are indeed one of the finest Roots Reggae bands, delivering music with deep, uplifting messages and soulful rhythms. Songs like "Never Get Burn", "Since I Throw the Comb Away" and "Faith Can Move Mountains " are gems that resonate with themes of resilience, empowerment, and spiritual awakening. Their live performances are legendary, filled with energy and passion that truly embody the spirit of reggae. With their strong messages of unity, faith, and love, the Twinkle Brothers have been instrumental in keeping the roots of reggae tradition alive. Their music not only entertains but also uplifts and inspires listeners worldwide. Big up every time to real roots music! In DEC 2024 we still here skanking
When I heard Me Stomach Sick and Throw the Comb away I was hooked on the Twinkle Bro's they are so real and not commercial Raw Lyrics and Sound Songs like Barabas and Give Rasta Praise from 1975 Rasta Pon Top I LOVE THE TWINKLE BROTHERS
I've been a reggae fan for many, many years, & for whatever reason I was late in my appreciation of the Twinkle Bros. I've come to the conclusion that they represent roots reggae at it's finest (IMHO). The reggae beat is important to me, the Twinkle Bros. lay down an unrelenting beat start to finish, they're not trying to appeal to a cross-over crowd, this is pure reggae| Very envious of anyone who was at that show - the venue looks amazing.

Big respect and honour to the great Norman Grant & the Rasta elders that are still part of the Twinkle Brothers today. This man is a living legend. The great Bob Marley, Dennis Brown, Jacob Miller, the list goes on and on.... they all looked up too and admired brother Norman Grant back when they were all just young in the music business.
I think that's a little too much. Bob Marley recorded his first single in 1962, and Simmer Down (number one hit in Jamaica) released in 1964. But still I think Twinkle Brothers belongs to the best reggae bands ever. And is the best of todays reggae bands, of people who are still alive.
Thank you Twinkle Brothers.I heard one song,,throw the comb away,,in 1986 and something touched me to put on Dreadlocks from the Bible. That brought me to Axum and the Dreadlockmonks from Ethiopia. Now I know what it means to be humble,i am starting to learn.Twinkle Brothers Vibration sends people in the right direction towards God/Amlak.Blessed Music!

Ras Norman Grant is still sounds fresh as in the early 80s when l first heard of the Legendary Twinkle Brothers ✨. My first Twinkle Brothers' album was Country Man which I still have now. The following albums were Love, Praise Jah, Me No you - You No Me, Kilamanjaro, Underground, Burden Bearer, The Right Way just to name the few but list goes on. Fortunately I attended the Twinkle Brothers show in Johannesburg here in Azania (South Africa 🇿🇦). I still regard the show as one of the Twinkle Brothers performances. 🎼🎤🎛🎚🎙🎸🎸🥁🟥🟨🟩
