as someone who almost died in 10th grade because of academic stress on top of existing mental issues, this film was so so important to me and made me cry. i feel like it should be required watching for like, every asian parent LMFAO. this video is such a good analysis of it! great work!!
Coming frm India... I did study for Many competitive exams like JEE Mains JEE Advanced etc.... It was crazyyy ... Heavy pressure all the time... I think 3 idiots does a great job to show in showing those truths in a comical way
I was 9 when It released. My uncle brought me a DVD and we watched it together and after that day I have watched it like atleast 367 times. It is the whole reason why I decided to become an engineer, to test the things said by movie, to experience the things showed in movie and I can pretty much confirm that movie was 100% right on every thing from Academics to Family Problems and Societal Norms. Even today if it comes on TV my body goes numb from nostalgia and my own experience and I'm not able to change channel. I remember the dialogue by heart. I other words this is THE movie I want to play on my funeral and "All is Well" is what I want to write on my gravestone
i havent been even born when this film was made. my sister only introduced me to this since their school made them do an analysis in the movie. today, this movie is one of the top movies in my heart.
An amazing analysis and an amazing video overall. 3 Idiots is one of the best films in the world and this analysis was an extraordinary one. Thank you and all is well!
Dude this whole video shows how much effort you have put into this. It is so well done! You have earned yourself a sub! And yeah I love the movie and support it's ideas! This movie is a must for anyone who is going through a tough time under academic pressure!
My jee preparation completely similar,....stress ....sometimes you love the topics s..sometimes you hate ....but the biggest stress arise when you ask yourself why ...what I want to be.....is this really teaching me something....at starring you enjoy learning about scientific concepts but at the end it's all about Mark's ....no matter how much you struggle no matter how many questions you practiced in past few years...nothing just Mark's.....and the most horrible thing even If you clear the exam you 99.99 % of students don't get their favorite branch......engineers in india are like robots who knows how to work 8-10hrs a day who knows how to handle stress and workload
I thank god for blessing me with this movie im 18 and scared of facing the challenge of adulthood.. for years I was accustomed to be successful so my family would be proud but all changed when me and my family watched this movie.
Such a perfectly made video! You could see the tiniest of details present in the movie - which is a testament to your vast knowledge and passion of film. Subscribed, would love to see more videos from you :D
It's really hard to know that still most of the Indian parents want their children to be no 1, we need more film makers like rajkumar hirani, Still most of the people belives education gives you better life I Don't think so,what's the point of forgot something right away after exams. Skill, passion are the things we need today
It's a tough one. Most of the world still assesses kids through exams, which I think is fine. It's more the way kids and parents approach exams which I believe can go too far. Films like this put a spotlight on that issue and I'm grateful for it
You should actually watch the movie taare zameen par its a Hindi movie and its made by the same director of 3 idiots taare zameen par means stars on the ground I think you will enjoy the movie , its a movie about a boy about 8 or 9 years old and he has a lot of difficulties studying so his parents send him to a boarding school and that's all I can say I'm not sure if the movie is in Netflix but it is in TH-cam Oh and Aamir khan is in the movie as we'll bwt the video was great :)
@@NicholasOon I highly recommend for you to review another Amir khan's Classic "PK". Not to spoil anything, but I believe that this will definitely make you think and reconsider some things in life's existence. :)
this film is important to me also because i am autistic and interest driven and i feel seen. i am very enthusiastic, as i am multifascinated towards the world around me, in learning what i am interested in... studying etc. can even come across more as a hobby than a discipline to some subjects. I always feel left behind by the educational system/curriculum because it is very evident i have the potential to even be the best of my class, i come with failing marks because these classes don't make me feel as excited to learn or give a damn about. The whole race thing is so horrid on my mental because I am slow, i need patience, my brain needs to understand and process and my autism also really makes me a hands-on learner and how it can be applied to real life- the simpler definition of a machine not being validated is so true but it hurts because having stuff simpler and being tested pragmatically how you understand your studies is important and helpful. Not to mention, overlooking special needs as just being seen as dramatic/needy/spoiled/etc. it birthed soulless teachers and soulless lessons. i need these educational figures to help me tap into my best self too, i really do believe i can be great for the good of all and harm of none. i would love so much to have a teacher like Rancho, i don't want to be left behind either.
Thank you for being so open about your current situation and for leaving the detailed comment. Sad to hear the system hasn’t been set up to accommodate your learning style, hope it gets much better in the future. Sending love and support (albeit virtually)!
This must be stupid question but what does he mean by excellence or Qabiliat as he says. I am from Pakistan 🇵🇰, so I fully understand the original audio.
I didn't understand the original audio but my guess is that excellence just means doing your best and constantly seeking to improve your knowledge and abilities rather than just chasing good results.
@@NicholasOon i did enjoy your video, but what i didnt understand, is your accent so curious. I'm flattered that a foreigner finds 3 idiots as one of the best movies bollywood has produced.
@@NicholasOon oh yeah it's like that in a competitive academic setting. The funny thing is that the knowledge isn't that complicated. Kids can learn them if they are taught properly. Schools have became unproductive toxic learning environments.
@@MFDElk I can relate to that and thats why education ministries and school management teams need to work together to ensure kids are learning the right skills and more importantly, the right mindsets

Hello!
A true teacher should not see education in a bookish way. 🤔
Education has multiple paradigms and the book is but one of them.
The professor needs to retire. He has contributed to many students' suicides.
Sad to think of the fact that real people might have inspired the writing of this character
