Great eye! These videos have been very fun but also very difficult to put together. I'm constantly seeing something that I missed is I was flying the drone or up close to them. Thanks for pointing this one out. If I had to guess I would say that it was one of the Fremont cultures. Petroglyphs. They tend to be a little more abstract or interpretive.
When I worked for the Duchesne County road department we had a job at the bottom of gate canyon and nine mile. And some of the other guys showed me a panel that was probably 100’ long. Just wondering if you have seen them?
Thank you, No, I looked for some petroglyphs near the parking lot at the bottom of gates canon but I had very little luck. I did find a panel a mile or so up that had cowboy graffiti and some oil drawings . I would be interested in any information that you could pass along. Thanks, keep watching as ill be posting more videos from inside the canyon
@@thecowboyandtheaccountant753 when you’re parked there they’re mostly hidden. You have to hike up to the first level just above the road. You could fly your drone up there to see them and then make that short hike. And then the ones in cottonwood canyon are right on the road but also just after you cross the bridge and on the opposite side of the canyon there might be some dwellings up high on the cliff face. I’m not sure if they’re still there because I haven’t been down there in 15 years. And I noticed that on almost every dark colored faces there would be some. So if you’re going back down there in a couple weeks I might just tag along. Oh are you entering through Price on Roosevelt side?
@@kevinthompson5827 no, I come through gates canyon. Are you talking up cottonwood canyon south past the great hunt panel? I have seen one structure up that way but I am not sure it is actually old, it is a total dry stack wall. Kind of questionable. Lol

@@kevinthompson5827 that would be fun. If the weather holds, I will be heading out on Sunday. I will be completing Rasmussen cave and posting on Friday.... I hope. I would welcome the company and I will let you know later on Friday when I firm up my plans. Thanks for the offer.
I was able to find the whirling log. It looks to be a Navajo symbol. Funny how a symbol that "experts" agree is from India and been around for 5000 years shows up here. Maybe there is something to their beliefs in Vimana. Thanks for putting a name to it
Nine Mile Canyon was the path taken by the last of the water that dribbled out of northern Utah, before the rest was marooned behind the Uintah Mountains, left to seep into the ground over the following three millennia. Big Daddy Canyon funneled the last of the water coming out of Flaming Gorge, over to Nine Mile, maybe around 3,000 years ago. By 2,500 years ago, water levels in "Lake Anasazi" (the body that sat atop the Four Corners region, from northwest of Helper UT, to southeast of Pie Town NM) had dropped sufficiently to allow the Fremont People to move out onto the (then-submerged) clifftops. a couple hundred years later, they moved down onto the cliffsides, and by the time of Jesus, out onto the prairies, to become Anasazi.

The Southwest is filled with signs of raging waters, sometimes hundreds, even thousands of feet up a cliff. It's a pretty amazing story, the people who first inhabited the region, and left all the ruins behind. Arches, Canyonlands, and Monument Valley, were carved by waves of rushing water that hit the dry-as-smoke caliche plain, and carved it out in one pass. The waters carried away huge pieces, massive boulders and other chunks of the ancient seabed, doing even more damage, further "downstream".
4:44 That hindu symbol is called Swastika. Hitler tried to loosely imitate it mere a few decades ago, and the Nazi logo is always tilted, while Swastika has been present in Indian culture for thousands of years. This one is not tilted, exactly like Indians make in their home. Now the big and funny question is how the hell did it get there?
Different cultures may have independently created swastika patterns, it is an interesting geometric design. I've seen them in many roman mosaics and roman fibula.

Fair enough, I will try to keep that in mind when I am editing. So, just for pre emptive purposes. I just posted a new video and it has a full music track.
At 3:01 at the top left Quadrant of the screen looks to be another character..it loosely resembles a balance scale..
Great footage, thank you!

Interesting.... I didn't draw the connection with the 45 deg tilt. Thanks. And right? What's it doing there?
@@jaytaylor9232 I am curious as well, it does look original to the panel and not a modern graffiti
The swastika is an ancient sun symbol
I have heard that as an interpretation as well. I know the sun always brings me good luck and happiness.

Music is not necessary background for every video. This music is extremely annoying, and ruins the video, IMO.
Please be cognisant of this in future.
