I’m going through 3 currently, is silent line that much of a step up? I’ve heard great things. I’m having a blast with 3 so if silent line is any better I’m amped
I remember That AC from arena E-32 Exile AC: painkiller “Most claims that he is better than Ace.” He was using OP-I with no cannons! Just 1000 machine gun, moonlight & lock-on jam
To defeat him you must be light and dodge his bullet by slide left when he activate it's blind mode keep doing that after he use it for four times or better you can dodge It until all of his ammo is out. Hence, you can crush him now.
I honestly feel that this version is much better than the album version. The album version makes it sound almost like a steampunk sort of game when clearly the series takes place in what looks to be a futuristic version of the mid-late 1990s. Plus this one has a more distinct feel to it with how there are low pitched basses in the beginning are used to emphasize the serious & deadly missions, plus the amount of reverb given to the Amiga-esque instrument that constantly changes pitch as it goes on in the album version makes it sound like a separate thing from the rest of the music. Not to mention the "eulm" instrument, a sort of SID-sounding one(SID is the Commodore 64 sound chip) is emphasized much less in the album version despite that instrument perfectly fitting into the atmosphere as shown here.
@@AleebiI find it kind of ironic that when musicians make what is their version of a Director's Cut its usually hated... then again, I wish they'd just release an unaltered soundtrack for this game officially
Still baffles me why the PSP doesn't use this music. It's one of the highlights of the OST, and you gonna hear it all the time! never gets dull or boring
@@aiodensghost8645 It does not. The PSP port uses the album version, which is different from the original PS2 version. Both versions are present in the PS2 version however, with the album version playing during one of the missions (the one where you protect Regina during her Raven test). I like the PSP version though! It has a cool beat, while the original on PS2 sounds more atmospheric.
Dude... going from Memory Shape Alloy to this in my youth was such a jarring experience for me because MSA was all pumped up and hype and then suddenly I'm faced with this ominous yet calculated garage theme that says to me "You're choices here matter more than you think. Maybe not now, but they will inevitably matter." And now, after experiencing Rubicon and Armored Core's revival as an adult, that message is finally sinking in as I slowly learn just how much goes into making a good AC.
@@umptischmutz I recently beat him on hard mode, Theres a few ways to get him. I often fought him on the Resevoir and do a "triangle" movement where you go up, down then across to dodge his chain guns and then wail on him when he flies low cause you wont outspeed him.
An interesting detail is that if you directly rip the raw files from the PS2 CD (not the soundtrack release) that the album version is actually in the game files included alongside all the rest but in the game this version is played instead. I can not find the game version within the actual files for some reason, only the album one (that wen't unused in the actual game). Theory is they just took all the files from the "ADX" folder on the game's CD-ROM and hence why the album version sounds like the unused one instead of this one.
i distinctly remember, as a kid, eventually always running out of willpower to focus and work on my AC in the menus after enough time staring at numbers and i can *still* hear that "schwing" sound of just holding R1 and cycling between my three ACs in boredom. I was probably too young to properly understand object permanence, honestly. Why in the world did i love this game so much? xD
I would love to get a Remastered version of Armored Core 3 & 3 Silent line. Everytime I heard this song in the main menu, I was constantly reminded to weigh my decicions on my builds and on my missions... Getting mail that I got from other Ravens shook me because you never knew if you made an ally or someone who had a b*llet with your name on it. Man, I love this game.
Trying to find that file that plays or what you call it when you highlight the PSP game and Armored core 3 portable plays. You don't press X to start. You just listen.

Armored Core 6 sends its regards!

still blasting this while in ac6 garage tbh
Ac6 does not even compare should not share the armored core namesake

AC 3 (Silent Line especially) definitely was a cold and dark game and absolutely nailed that feeling in the Cortex music as well as the intro themes.

i genuinely dont understand the point when we as players never hear that version in the game...

10/10 vibe, cover art and all
Finally, the right version. Thank you.
This theme in particular will always be one of my personal favorites. It really gives off cold, dark, ominous, cutting edge future vibes. 😉
This is the only acceptable music you can play when assembling your AC.
Love this song, damn isn't only give goosebumps but will be always masterpiece ost.
I could have this repeat all day.
came back to listen to this because AC6 is going to be release soon😎
